I want to redo my mirke wardecors for PUP. I will go with macc/mab for sure. With rigor and alternator, would it be better to take attack/r.attack as a second option? Or go with acc/r.acc?
Unless you're doing stuff like the Delve bosses, the automaton has its acc and racc pretty well covered with Alternator + Rigor. I'd go with att/ratt along the obvious mab/macc. In fact, it's what I started doing yesterday (first time with the add-on, so I have to go through all the grind, ugh).
Was asked to brew Rani for a friend since I ahve a lot of Cruor
90 vereth vs Rigors for brew? Figured smite > smite = light would be better
Rani also absorbs magic damage while casting so you'd need to be careful with the SC not full healing her.
I hear that like Haste, PDT has rounding issues so that 50% PDT in gear is slightly less.
For a full PDT set, I currently run 51% PDT due to that, but I was wondering if it'd be worth it to drop Collossus's earring + Brutal Earring for Bladeborn/Steelflash. I know it might be somewhat subjective, but I don't know exactly how the PDT cap rounding works.
I've only got +44 ACC in my full PDT set, and with how evasive Delve mobs are, I could really use an extra 8.
In preparation for the next update where we could unlock empy ws by 99ing woe weapons, I am working on several weapons. One of them is Rudra's Storm. I am wondering if I should go on the DEX path for the Aphotic Kukri or stay with STR.
Tbh I advocate AGI path for Aphotic Kukri. Pure DPS weapons are usually the first to be outdated. If you have a 99 RME then it'll be otudated as a DD dagger as soon as the EMR gets it's boost (You'd use RME+Izhi).
A situational evasion weapon is less likely to get outdated immidiately. Also for those times lowman (the majority of thf content) when you're not eva capped, an EVA route Aphotic will probably remain a very good offhand dagger (25Eva/10AGI).
Then again maybe the main reason I advocate it is I'm welcoming the RME update and am confident I'll have an Izhiikoh.
Should I upgrade my Bereaver on STR path, or DEX path? I'm only planning on taking them to rank 5-8 or so, at least until they announce more details on R/E/M changes.
The STR path will help out more on old content, and Delve content where I am capped on acc (delve farms, and NMs when I have correct buffs on).
The DEX path will help out more on Delve content where I'm not capped on acc (NMs when I have to be in my PDT set, or when my buffs get dispelled/the bard messes up).
What do you guys think? I don't have any prospects of fighting the mega bosses on DRK soon, so I don't have to make a super high acc set for them.
If you're only taking them to Rank 5 then do DEX path. You don't even get any DEX or STR at Rank 5. 4 Attack is very minimal improvement whereas 4 Acc is decent when it's applicable.
Ok, I'm at a standstill. I lvled GEO because why not. I have access to 1 NNI piece and I don't know which to get. I could get Phorcys salade to complete phorcys for my DRK, but I'm not really in need of STP. I could get Nares trews for my GEO to have refresh legs or I could get thaumus body for MNK and get a spellcast for MNK and use MNK for whatever. My MNK isn't terribly geared, I can get rigors if I wanted to. Is phorcys better than achuka head? I figured I would just aim to get that instead of getting the salade. I don't really get to do NNI runs very often unfortunately, no one really does them much and I guess I am a little hesitant to join random shouts. But then again my tags are always full.
STR/AGI path Aphotic can always end up as the new Aluh jambiyah for RNG, if they don't need a Racc dagger lol
I dont like doing FF Math so
Rank 15 Str Path Miki Body or Phorcys Body for applicable jobs
