Any non magian trial swords to consider? I already have Isador.

If you use Spellcast, I s'pose you could use Isador for precast when TP doesn't matter (like when Charged Whisker burning), but really, magian are the way to go. If you're not going to do an Almace, STR Shikargar x2 are gonna be your best DD options, and I'd recommend doing an AGI and PDT sword as well (they are both super-fast and easy, and both have uses when soloing).

Well you realy should get emyrean.... wf will be your best ws by far. Not to mention higher base dmg for bigger quickdraws. If you going to go thru the trouble of making a magian might as well since it shouldn't take you that much more play time to make. If you don't feel like spending much time on guns just buy something off the ah

How bad is it to get an Emyrean now? I feel I could bang out a 99 Magian Weapon in a weekend with a touch of luck on weather. Specifically the last 3 trails seem horrible in comparison to getting a bunch of geodes, unless you think having the 95 WF weapon would be better.

Well I afk leeched most my nm kills as tons of people usually doing the path and even if you can't it's pretty easy. Kill placeholder rq wait 5-16min repeat. So while it might have a bit of time logged on it wont be too much actively doing anything. VNM shouts go on all the time so that shouldn't be a problem. Plus if you really have to you can pin them. Then theres the abyssea part. That kinda depends on what you got and competetion but you gotta figure it's by far the easiest path. 90 is pretty easy to but a tad more money consuming or time farming stuff and needs more people to kill (ie you aren't soloing it half asleep lol) 95 just takes alot of money. But really just getting to 85 is enough. Once you get wildfire it's a game changer. If you really push you could probably do it in 2 weekends. Or slowly work on nms/leech nms during the week and power thru the abyssea part on the weekend.

Wildfire is the defining WS for cor now. If you are referring to gun for rng, I have no idea, I guess you could do a bedlam or w/e it is called at final stage (woe gun). Getting an 85 armageddon is probably the single easiest empy in the game. I can't urge you strongly enough to ignore some magian guns and work on wildfire. It will require having 1-3 friends or a dualbox to accomplish, and then just a little bit of time. The only timed pop nm in the path to 85 is heqet, who sits up half the time on slyph, maybe more than half. And the 80 stage (50 gems) can probably be done start to finish in 6 hours with 3 friends.

edit: The trial path does get CONSIDERABLY harder going from 90 > 95 (metal plates), but a 90 armageddon is > everything else other then 95 or 99 of the same. Mythic may disagree, but I only know of 2 on my server, so until they get easier to obtain....

Echoing what other folks have said about arma. I originally did the DMG version for QD which I ended up turning into bedlam+2 with WoE coins. After awhile I realized I would much prefer an actual armageddon and went back to do it. Other than re-doing trials which is annoying it is not bad at all. You can just end it at 85 or 90, merit last stand and you'll have a solid magic and physical based WS.

The augment on blood mask is pretty hot, it's a -5 on recast timer. If you are spamming quick draw constantly in a long fight, -5 seconds on timer would represent a 12% increase in damage over time. There are few fights were you use quick draw quite that much though. Thaumus hat prolly better on individual shots.

Well you also gotta figure in how fast you are getting tp too. More QDs could also represent more wf dmg on average

I picked up a -1 kabuto yesterday as they seem rare ish on Shiva, but haven't converted it yet. I was just throwing out the expected augment for that piece. I do have monk too, but rarely play it and do not have Vere. I guess I'll just sell the kabuto.

Actually.. not really.. Unless you want to be prepared for Reso nerf but since Tanaka left I wouldnt be worried about it.
