Just got Portho's body and having a hard time working in best possible situation for wearing it while maintaining 26% on BST. If I swap out Zelus Tiara for Ganesha I am @ 25% and would need to toss Demonry Core for Hasty Pinion, would the Store TP -5 be that detrimental to my set? Is it retarded to just equip BST AF3+2 head and just be +1% Haste over cap? Trying to fit best possible scenario, minus any Phorcys gear.


Also would you use Portho's over Kirin's Osode for Ruinator? Twilight Mail never drops and Phorcys is out of reach atm

Not sure if that dex would change anything unless with 12/12 merits in dex and with impetus down when Toci will add another 13 maybe? (That would be 103Dex base and +53 so even then thats probably not a cap for anything in Legion or higher VW?

Mantis+Victory smite or a superior H2H+Shijin Spiral?

Victory Smite is barely better than Stringing Pummel, which is, unless you have the best possible gear, a bit worse than Shijin. So, STR magian + Shijin is the best. Just remember to WS early on the mob, or you'll kill it, wasting the WS proc chance.

I read that Praeco is suppose to be better but wondering by how much? Hoping for some math maybe?

Victory smite is worse than pummel. Pummel and shijin should be pretty much the same against dynamis mobs, pummel has a pretty high crit rate.

Requiescat's damage is calculated as a physical WS, but the damage type is changed to magic. Since MAB only applies to elemental WS, MAB will have zero effect on Requiescat.

Depends on your MND/STR, but you're realistically looking at 3-4 Base DMG v 9 ATT. The base damage looks like a winner without knowing more detail. The robe will win if you use the accuracy as Atoreis pointed out.

I only ask cause i have had TH proc on the death hit (At least, i'm positive i have).

TH can only upgrade on main hand hits, so if death was via offhand strike, then it wasnt the killing blow

Hm, you have very little room to improve, I wish I had available NNI stuff.

For TP, I'd change Ghillie+1 for Bruiser, although the difference is minimal, and use Thaumas legs instead of AF3+2. Rancor will do more damage during TP phase, so if you can afford the extra damage taken, why not? If not, AF3 collar, yeah.

For WS... I'd change Thaumas head for Ocelomeh +1: the DEX contributes to damage through crit more than those 6 STR + bonus and 8 Att, specially considering the 3% QA from the set bonus with Toci's. Kemas earring in place of Ghillie +1, Athos Gloves, put Rancorous mantle and use Ire torque +1 in place for Rancor neck, and use Thaumas feet instead of AF3+2. None of the changes are going to make a brutal difference, but those are the improvements I see possible to do on WS. All together, they account for a 4-5% increase in WS damage.

multi hit is not the best for VS due to the first hit only being subect to multi, exceptions being brutal earrign and atheling.

windbuffet is inferior to black belt..

Atheling + rancor > rancor + nefarius.

Nyzul body is bad for WS ( af3+2 best) for the same reason, especially during impetus, but outside too.

For info back at the 95 cap they released a belt from dynamis bubu arch boss (str+5 DA+3) was mathed to be only 0.2% better than black belt or something, and there are better options (wanion).

This means you can alwasy consider than 1% DA= 1 STR.

For accuracy there are many options like af2+2 gloves, an AH acc+13att+13 waist, ziel charm. Generally speaking do not use more acc on WS than TP btw.

If you can afford the extra damage taken, use rancorous mantle. Stick with emp neck. Pup isn't losing out on atheling like other jobs would.
