My Blm nuke in FULL AF3+2 , should i swap head for Rubeus Bandeau?

I'll loose a lot of speed / acc and /set bonus ><

Any utility for Rubeus Bandeau?>< except fast cast which is not that fast

Not sure why you think you need to give up the Emp hat in your precast set just because you're looking to nuke in a different hat. You can have both.

That said, I don't see a purpose for that hat if you have access to other options. I certainly wouldn't use it as a SCH. Most of the BLM Emp pieces are pretty mediocre on their own, and I don't think an infrequent proc of the set bonus is enough to stay competitive with 4/5 Nares. If Nares is not an option, I don't think I would break the Emp set for Rubeus.

Hi, just come back from 2yr hiatus. I have MNK WoE h2h +2. Rev Fists is still better than the merited WS right? I don't want to bother with building Empyrean just yet as I want to come back to game and have fun still, instead of grind out KI farming sessions. Is my Rev Fists +2 going to tide me over well amongst top tier DD? Granted it's no Empyrean or Relic with uber strong aftermath, but is it still amongst the top choices for someone who doesn't want to devote the time to build Empyrean just yet?

These days I use it only for some occasional Dyna solo runs, I think.
No ruinator yet (15/15 cap etc) so I'm still using Rampage.
A couple of questions on some slots where I have multiple options atm:

Body:
Toci's > Twilight > AF3+2?
I think AF3+2 might be better with the KI>Damagebonus conversion augment, but I doubt that applies to nightmare mobs in Dyna?

Waist:
Using Anguinus atm, other option would be Elemental belt

Neck:
Using Rancor, other option would be elemental gorget

Feet:
AF3+2 or Kacura+1? I suppose crit+2% should overcome the +1STR/DEX and the 3%DA? (not counting acc since I'm getting more than enough from other slots anyway)

300TP Rana > Shoha until AM3 drops > repeat.

The reason it's better is because the Occ atk twice/thrice effect can proc on weaponskills too

Not to mention SAM has a particularly easy time accumulating 300TP in comparison to other jobs.

SAM's TP gain is absurdly fast at 99; koga's easy to 5-hit, AM3 gives you OA2-3 and lasts a comfortable 3 minutes, and AF2+2 gloves combined with AF1 helm will frequently give you 200 TP on a meditate if you're still desperate to get AM3 back up at the end of its duration.

Mythic WSes get a flat damage bonus as the weapons go up*, but you aren't going to have to use Rana very much anyway.



*this is why imo koga doesn't get as much hype as it deserves; attention is usually reserved for mythics with WSes actually worth using, like kenkonken or ryunohige, despite koga arguably being the best weapon in the game

Depends on what WS you're using, what level of mob you are fighting, what average TP you are WSing at, fighters roll etc.

If you are using ukon with typical easy to obtain gear then just use claymore, anything else use pole unless you are in abyssea (raging rush).
