They both do exactly the same damage with my set up on DC dyna mobs with bison steak(7 str 90 attk agi +1), you're better off just saving 2 inventory slots and using one or the other. Drone probably cause it's more damage for TA, but ghille might be more useful when on stronger mobs or eating weaker food. However, I don't use str thokcha because I have puginiculus.

Vassal mantle also beats atheling as any except /war(might still win there but not sure) if you want +5 attk for inventory -1.
Edit: Urja jerkin beats loki's for unstacked exenterator.

Additionally, Altdorf/Wilhelm should outdo Drones. And if you're not subbing WAR, use Vimukti Mantle (Prosilio negates Atheling's DA).

Denali Jacket is cool too for unstacked if you can't find Urja. Ultimately Thaumas Head/Legs/Feet should be something to aim for too (for all versions).
