so i am going to play again and i read something about tp-gearing ninja (on ah.com) and it seems Koga Legs+2 pretty much noch is the ideal tp legs instead of iga?
Basically:
Iga Zukin+2
Af1 Body
Koga Hands+2
Koga Legs+2
Iga feet+2

i still have:
Iga head+2
af1 body
koga hands+2
Iga Legs+2
and Iga feet+2

Both sets would use Twilight Belt btw. I don't see myself getting a Thaumas Body soon. Hopfully someone can give me an answer.

First set as long as you don't have marches or Embrava, in which case you'd want an entirely different set altogether.

DA Khadga is ahead by 1% on fodder, loses against anything else last I checked

To expand on this, gains in STR/attack from the Shikargar need to be minimal or nonexistant for DA Khadga to match or beat and as mentioned it'll never lose to Khadga by more than ~1%. This is pretty unlikely for a RDM/NIN, especially with Requiescat's rather severe attack penalty, so the Shikargar is the better option.

Empy feet +2 (13 AGI) or relic + 2 (MAB +6)?

Following the general rule of thumb on Wildfire sets that [1 MAB = 2 AGI], Nvrch. Bottes+2 win.

BGWiki says the relic +2 augmented feet add MAB+4 per merit for the meritted magical BPs. Is this true? Or is it only occasional?

Okay here is where I am confused. Does that mean the extra MAB is only added on magical criticals, rare as they may be, or is a base MAB bonus? I only ask because I am debating what feet to use for avatar magic attacks.

I'm pretty sure Ocelomeh/Ocelome+1 head tops the Anwig Salade. Increases your dDex for more crit, and adds 3% TA for the set bonus. Also, Athos's tights are worse than Cirque +2, that's for sure. And I'd have to check again, but gorget on neck, ele. belt on waist, and rancorous mantle on back will probably be better, too.

Cirque +2 legs just add accuracy and attack. Athos increase the critical attack damage which procs alot on SP. I used to use Usukane until I was told the Dex and critical bonus from the pants were more worth it and I do indeed see better results. I used to use gorget and belt as well but I believe the bonus only applied to the first hit and the STR and critical bonus from the belt and collar could proc on every hit. Again, I have to look back and see who said this but I switched afterwards.

Asked this myself not too long ago; ideally yes, possibly patentia sash > twilight, I've been told. Swap DW for fast cast/haste during jutsu casting, otherwise koga+2. Still working on this! haha.

Thanks Taim. Quick question: Does the DEX bonus from the Oce. headpiece really beat the STR (one of the primary SP stat), 15 weaponskill accuracy, and weaponskill damage + significantly?

I'm finding accuracy to be fairly important as well, more than you'd think.

Against endgame content, like high-end VW enemies, and I guess Legion stuff (haven't played Legion at all), you'll need all the acc you can, that's for sure. I tend to not focus my PUP calculations on those mobs, because the vast majority of the time if I was on PUP I was either farming Dyna or doing lowman content the kind of stuff that you know you have capped acc. In endgame I was like 85% of the time SCH, then maybe 10% on WAR for procs/DD and the 5% remaining I could come PUP (but only in stuff like Akvan, Qilin, Gaunab, etc.) On those I could use more acc, but is was rare enough to not consider them too much.

On my SP set, which is close enough to yours, if I swap both headpieces, overal DPS increases in a bit more than 1% with Ocelomeh+1. That's a pretty notable difference, considering the usual variations.
