You also get haste+8 with those sets, the MNKs should be swapping gear around to maximize hit rate.

It is. I believe he might be thinking of other DDs that sometimes use Atmacite of Latitude for the tp bonus in place of skyblaze

Which oddly enough I tend to stick with on mnk myself, since before crour nerf another atmacite meant gil lost. I'd have to look over my last parse but fairly certain I wasn't that low across PW for acc.

Trying to figure out if Ngen Seraweels is better than Callers Spats +2 for magic pacts. Last I saw, 5/5 Merits in a magical BP was 40%, so 200% TP. I recall the Spats adding 50%, so that still doesn't cap out. But it would seem 5% BP damage would still be better than 50% TP, eh?

50% TP Bonus > Blood Pact damage +5%.
Ngen Seraweels are better at around 275% TP. 5/5 merit BP = 160% TP.

What would an ideal Mercy Stroke set look like for Mandau thf? If ideal includes any abjuration gear, please also include alternatives for I have most of the abjurations already but hexed -1 doesn't seem to exist.

Also, if you could mention which hands/feet are the best for tp, I would be very greatful. In a couple of different active threads right now, people are saying from a range of AF3+2, Murzim Manopolas, Thaumas hands, and AF2+2 feet. I have all of them minus the Murzim so just would like to know what's best to go for. Thanks.

For Mercy Stroke, I would think something like:
Augmented Heca Cap +1, Justiciar's, Vulcan's, Brutal
Toci's/Tessera, Af3+2, Pyrosoul, Pyrosoul(Rajas for Sneak Attack)
Athelling, Prosilio Belt, Khepri/Thaumas, Augmented Heca +1

I finished Murzim before realizing they aren't that good. You don't even need 4% in the hands slot.

I have Thaumas hands and feet coming out ahead as well.


Haste slots, 6%head,7%belt,4%body,6%legs so only need 3 in the hands slot.

Yeah, but there aren't any 3% gloves with other DD stats that top Miodio or Thaumas (with 4/5)

No I totally agree 4/5 Thaumas is the way to go.

It has the same attack and 1 more Str, take a guess

I'd probably stick to Thaumas for TA Mercy though and keep Abatteur for solo or SA Mercy.

Rancorous mantle + Light gorget is superior to either.

Edit: unless you are extremly low on attack or fighting very high level mobs, in which cas rancorous + nefarious, unless acc needed, and then you use letalis mantle+ gorget.

You don't need an LS to get ebody, you can easily buy that or farm nidhogg pops with 2 people. Odin1 is also a very easy fight that can be killed with nin+healer assuming you have 4 bodies to not time out. No excuse at all to not try for ebody really.
