What's Better?

Oneiros Knife worth using on RNG/WAR (Yoichi) or should I stick with Aluh Jambiya (which most people I've seen seem to use)? Mostly for use in Legion.

I'd go with Aluh, with our buff setup, rng dmg split is about 25% TP 75% WS maybe even more toward ws.

I was sure it was phorcys but now I am not sure...

Since the Phorcy's damage only counts on first hit, I believe the order was (aug'd) shadow/valk > Ares's > Phorcy's and (aug'd osode) was in there somewhere. I'll look for the post to be sure.

with no buffs/food

and phorcys adds another 49 atk (counting the STR bonus) +19 STR and +3 VIt

On "Qilin" on the spread sheet I had Phorcys beating Twilight but every other Senario favored twilight. Pbody was always ahead.

That's a ton of attack that is being given up, at least 75 attack.. I had to this point assumed phorcys hands body and legs were the ideal pieces for those slots.

Everything is situational... basically anything and everything we do currently, you're going to have a supposed capped attack so that you're loosing nothing. Should always have brd and/or cor with bergressor and food yada yada. so having 1500+ attack is standard.

That quote was for someone who didn't have ares' body. Would still be behind valk/shadow (aug'd) but before twilight assuming acc/att cap/uncap you know the drill. if you need the acc this if you need the att that. for 3rd best twilight/ares

My pc is crashed atm, for 100% accuracy on your end, pull up montenten's sheet and run the specs yourself to be sure.

It really isn't that hard to figure out. just download the war xls go to gear and change it to bravura 99 etcetcetc then make changes between what you think is optimal and what you think might be better and compare the 2 on the data tab.

Set berserk and minuet rcb/pizza pick the mob all that jazz. or wait an hour and ill put it up.

*EDIT* Drachenhorn adds +53~ to each scenario... though it's listed as 5% (overall attack) not base... I don't know how to make drachen's mechanics work the exact proper way. But even so, it should be better than ravager+2.

Gimme a target mob, and any gear changes. used Qilin with no atmas as just a base idea. This was the best set I could find number wise. Warrior+2 lowers by about 50~

windbuffet actually comes in under warwolf, I know someone will ask (why not windbuffet) ive never been a fan of that belt personally.

Wow thx, I am frankly surprised that twilight does so well buffed. My set is very close to yours I just don't have valk or tp earring (cause I am too lazy to do all those quests)

Going to have to think this over a bit my reaction is to just use Ares as a middle of the road solution, but that would be inv -1 on a job I already carry a ton of gear on. I might just go with twilight since I always carry that.

Well one little disclaimer, My upheaval set, uses Ukon, not Brovura, though I think you know that. and I only use it under MS.
Though if I had the relic, that's the set I would use.

Yeah, I would just use twilight.. I don't feel you can ever really cap acc, but thats coming from someone who lacks GA merits, and doesn't main WAR (doesn't main any job really lol)

No reason to carry ares body, if twilight is that close and 80 spaces only travels so far.

In the end it comes down to VIT being the only important part (and aug'd quads/trips/dubs). Twilight has the most of that.
