Esp on DRK you will often have plenty of attack to make Heca+1 the better choice.

Phorcys body vs twilight for pld cdc/requiescat? I'm assuming I'm not going to be capping atk on pld anywhere.

Not unless it's something that was released semi-recently. Augmented Heca+1 feet are still pretty swell in general

True enough, granted the latter is extraordinarily rare and expensive, while the former is expensive and time consuming enough that one may as well focus on the latter.

I don't play pld often, and I wouldn't use heca feet on any other jobs, so I didn't want to invest in a -1 and god knows how many tatters. I guess I'll wait to see the new ares first at least.

Still wondering on twilight body vs. phorcys. I'm assuming phorcys easily wins for sanguine, but I have no idea for req/cdc.

Are Ogier's Breeches best for any WS for jobs listed or are they just used as an idle piece nowadays?

Any solid testing on Punga's Slops? I'm assuming they would beat augmentted H.Legs (Pet:Atk+10 Crit Rate+2), but do they beat Ngen Seraweels?

The are the best for every single hit WS I can think of. Multi-hit WSs have better options.

you might wanna try out eithe p.feet -1 augmented has crit hit + 5 and crit hit dmg +5 max (i think check the sky gear augments trhead)

or you go with HQ legion corvinne abjuration feets which have +10 crit hit dmg I believe.

obviously the corvinne feet wins, but then again how many HQs of those do you see ¬.¬

with the new einherjar update it should be fairly easy to get some valkyries sabatons tbh.

STR+5, DEX+5, Dual Wield+7%, Atk+10, Haste+9%, Triple Attack+2%

Remaning gear as follows:

(Kannagi in the works if that has much of an impact on gearset as a whole once finished)
Hochomasamune/Kamome/-/Fire Bomblet
xxx/Koga Tekko +2/Epona/Rajas
Atheling/Twilight/xxx/xxx

If I'm leaving out anything potentially critical feel free to point that out, thanks in advance.

I'm fairly certain you'd be better off using af3 body on high tier VW nms.

EDIT: Provided you aren't getting like max buffs, madrigal especially.

Assuming we're talking purely melee purposes, I'd actually argue that the answer is Sanus Ensis. Tizona's only competitive in situations where you can cap Ratio on Requiescat, so the attack from Shikargar is useless in situations where Tizona would beat Almace.

Well since no one else answered;

Hochomasamune/Kamome/-/Qirmiz Tathlum
AF3+2/AF3 neck/Suppa/Brutal
AF1+1/Koga Tekko +2/Epona/Rajas
Atheling/Twilight/AF2+2/AF3+2

is what you'd want to use in aby. For other weak stuff outside, you might swap the neck to rancor collar, and the ammo to bomb core.

For high tier VW it's probably situational depending on how much acc you need, but something like:

Hochomasamune/Kamome/-/Fire bomblet
AF3+2/Rancor collar/Suppa/Brutal
AF3+2/Koga Tekko +2/Epona/Rajas
Atheling/Twilight/AF3+2/Usu

is what I would use pre-thaumas.

You could use oirandori main hand until you get kannagi, and when you do it makes a good offhand in groups for the debuff.
