Best ranged TP neck for Cor and Rng if don't need STP in that slot? Been using Rancor Collar, but would Corvus or something be better?
Also BFG or AF3+2 hands for Cor ranged TP (assuming snapshot precasting already so it's just Ratt vs Crit).

Edit: Oh, and Kudzu Aketon vs Athos's Tabard for Last Stand (Cor & Rng)? Tessera Saio doesn't exist.

that depends what you are fighting but I would go with what has moste ranged accuracy if you are fighting hard stuff (Legion mobs and such), cor really needs all the r.acc they can get :/, even on apearantly "lol" stuff like arch ultima etc, my cor ranged accuracy is shit, and I have a ton of r.acc on.

as for the body kudzu aketon over athos's tabard I think, but if you have access to gunman gambison I would rather use that over athos and kudzu, nice STR+5 AGI+10 +15 r.acc and r.atk, would definitly win on harder stuff. Last stands needs so much ranged accuracy on cor to actually land both hits on anything that is remotely harder to kill.

thinking about useing leoth gloves: +10 AGI +15 r.atk and Zouave's beret: +6AGI +15. r.atk for Last stand, but giving up so much ranged accuracy for those 2 pieces :/

An addendum to this question. My current Victory Smite set is:

    Vereth(85)/-/-/Thew
    Thaumas/Justiciar's/Brutal/Moonshade
    Tantra +2/Mustela/Epona's/Rajas
    Rancorous/Wanion/Thaumas/Kacura +1

What changes should I be trying to make to this set, and if active buffs make a big enough difference (Impetus up/down for example), how should I be changing my gear for those situations? I find I'm missing several hits in Neo Salvage fairly often, which is why I'm asking. I have a Light Belt and Light Gorget, but have no idea when they would be appropriate.

    Thanks for any help.

Edit: I forgot that my hands change to Athos's gloves whenever the day matches.

light belt, light gorget, nemetona cap and abatteur subligar are the most obvious upgrades, in almost any situation.

Really? Huh. Why does everyone seem to use Justiciar's and Prosilio for Smite? I don't think I've seen another MNK using a gorget for Smite before.

Great cheers. Yeah I know racc is an issue for Cor, I should have mentioned that the gear choices above were for when it wasn't as I'll be using a more racc intensive set in those instances anyway. To be honest though I find Wildfire still equals or bests Last Stand unless I have mad Attack Buffs (unless the mob has natural high mdb/fire resist or something) so for a lot of harder stuff where accuracy is a serious issue I've just been using Sushi and Wildfire. It's a hell of a lot more reliable than trying to make Last Stand out damage it with any consistency on harder content.

What are you using for hands/head at the moment that loses you "so much" racc? It's only 7racc less than thaumas x2.

I am useing thaumas head and hands, but something in my head must have bogused me, because I thought i would loose more r.acc. (dont know why lol) Well in that case I should try out that new hand + head combo.

As for the body I am useign atm Vara Brigandine, I have no athos no kudzu and no gunman gambison (and no Tessera of course), so that was my next best option :/

For mobs like Ig-alima(including legion one and meeble one), last stand is superior. It's also superior on provenance watcher, iron giant, Hydra/Khim/cerberus/Dvergr/behemoth in legion. Some of those mobs you may have acc issue without hunter's roll and acc swap though.

Edit: Using last stand also allow melee TP with a melee weapon like Mercurial kris, with march and embrava you can WS way faster than /ra with a melee set. And you gain dmg with fencer bonus. If you use WF you have to stuck with a staff which takes forever to gain TP compare with meleeing with march/embrava. And you'd lost a lot of WS dmg if you WF without a staff.

Is Melee for TP the best option with Brava/Marches/etc? Also I'll try out Last Stand next time I do Ig-Alima, I'm guessing I can use Pot-Au-Feu there with hunters/bravers/stalwarts. I seem to remember Wildfire doing around 2k on him though. Will I be able to beat that consistantly without Minuets (Unlikely to get a brd in pug vw)?

in my experience. Meleeing with haste + marches alone would be faster then ranged attack. This has allways benn the case for me, but in Legion i would rather stay out of mobs range and just suck up the dmg I loose, but If I do meeble burrows stuff etc and I am on cor, I am sure as hell meleieng and useing last stand unless its a boss run.

For Entropy on DRK, Phorcys Korazin or Twillight Mail?

And, for Stardiver on DRG, Lancer's Vambraces +2 or Heafoc Mitts?

Blade: Shun on Ninja, 1) vs 2), which one is better?

    1) Iga+2 Hands, Tumbler Trunks, Dilaram's Sollerets
    2) Thaumas Hands, Legs, Feet.

Shouldn't Byakko's Haidate beat Tumblers? I'd lean towards the first but cant be sure.

Haidate is better yeah. Out of the things listed I would actually use Thaumas Hands + Feet and Tumbler Trunks.

Just to add further data to this, it's basically:

    1) STR+8, DEX+23, att+34(38)

    vs

    2) STR+14, DEX+22, Att+28(35), DA+3%

I didn't factor in accuracy, and I added the set bonus (+5 DEX and STR) for the 3 thaumas pieces set bonus.
Blade: Shun is highly reliant on DEX, its main modifier, but STR still affects it altough in an indirect way since it's not a main modifier. You lose a negligible amount of DEX and Att (1 and 3 respectively) to gain a (negligible?) amount of STR+6 and DA+3%.

Dunno, I guess both sets are pretty close together but I was kinda leaning toward number 2).
Oh and yes, Byakko's Haidate is likely better than Tumbler Trunks, and likely Abatteur Subligar and Usukane Hizayoroi+1 are better too. But I was asking just between those two sets I posted.
