Refresh. Ignoring the fact that I can't ever think of a time where I /heal for any reason other than logging out, I believe 1 MP/tic is the equivalent of ~3 hMP.

1 Refesh is 3.3 hMP roughly. If you're anal about it you can do both, resting in refresh and swapping to hMP gear just before each tick. Tbh though I can't remember the last time I had to rest for MP (But then SCH is my main mage, and SCH just doesn't need to rest.)

It even possible to have thousands of voidstones? My mule has like 850 and barely does VW, activated on day 1. Still missing prov key for last stone regen. Maybe if you never used a stone and only bought em, but I doubt could have over 2k even then.

After a couple days doing a whole bunch both toons are at about 950 each without the provenance periapt.

AF1+1 hands worth it for solo TA? Been using up until now, just got thaumas, not sure what wins. Only one other thaumas piece in TA set.

AF1+1 win significantly over thaumas. AF1+1 will give like 23-27 AGI depending on race/merits.
Also you say you're only using one other piece of Thaumas which I'm assuming is the legs. At this point I'd say Thaumas Feet should beat AF3+2 feet (assuming that's what you're using).

Depends on the job and what you can do with the 4% haste from Thaumas.

Agreed. You could even get away with using AF3+2 hands too. They wouldn't be far behind Mustela and would destroy them if you ever needed accuracy. Depends if you need mustela for any other job I guess.

For Sam, yes Phorcys Body + Hands is the best combo for both ws

As for DRG, I'm not quite sure, but I'm willing to be say the same goes for Stardiver, but I'm not quite sure.... ( I don't really play DRG) so maybe someone else can help you out on that part!

asking for a LS friend: if you had most of the currency already saved up, would you build bravura and vere, or ukon and spharai, assuming equal love for both jobs. inb4 sell currency and do ukon/vere, looking for 1relic/1emp. my instinct tells me spharai/ukon, but i'd like the collective opinions of BG. marrows will be free from LS. plates and cinders/dross will take a while if they happen
