The two sets together allow you to make some of the best accuracy (while retaining damage) and best damage sets. For the "accuracy" set below, I'd consider it optimized without completely sacrificing damage (there are a bunch of accuracy/skill pieces that would net you more accuracy, but they would lose all damage components).
Accuracy:
Head: Morri+1 (probably Estoq.+2 in the case of RDM)
Body: Nares (Savant's+2 in the case of SCH)
Hands: Morri+1
Legs: Akasha
Feet: Nares (maybe Duelist's +2 for RDM)
= MAB+35, INT+34, M.acc/skill+52
Damage:
Head: Nares
Body: Morri+1
Hands: Nares
Legs: Akasha
Feet: Morri+1
= MAB+49, INT+48, M.acc/skill+8, M.crit+5%
It's pretty nifty how they complement each other (they've always tended to be very good in the past with developing mage sets that complement each other well); however, accuracy boost on the former set is very significant compared to the relatively smaller damage boost on the latter set (slightly mitigated by the INT difference). I'd think the best possible hybrid of the two would look something like nares head / morri+1 (or sch+2) body / morri+1 hands / akasha legs / morri+1 feet, and the first accuracy tradeoff you'd make would be morri+1 body for nares body, if needed.
