its that and he will debuff over bravers, you can always use meds to get rid of it, but cant buff yourself back right away usually. mnks suffer a bit because of the lack of acc mod on h2h, so I am trying to find a happy medium.

As MNK on Ig-Alima, I'm pretty well resigned to the fact that my damage is, more likely than not, going to be crap against it. Even with Aggressor, Focus, and Stalwart's up, my accuracy is sketchy. Without Stalwart's, you're hosed either way. If your Fanatic's wears and you're worried about being debuffed you're better of just running out of range until you get your temps back.

What exactly are you comparing? And by tp do you meleeing or shooting or just some kind of mix?

Was for ranged TP, sorry. Melee TP I just have Oce+1/Thaumas and all that jazz.

That actual comparison was Loki's+Rancor Collar vs Kudzu+Hyoui's. Neither option interferes with snapshot precast, nor saves inventory space. Sadly the 2STP difference between Loki and Kudzu makes the difference so I couldn't go Kudzu+Rancor.

Actually fuck it, I'm gonna go post sets in the Media forum and see if I can find a better setup entirely.

What would a decent Vorpal Blade set look like for PLD inside Abyssea? Think I need to make due with that while I work towards an Almace.

My damage is all over the place using RR/GH/AoA and I'm wondering how I can tweak this set to get some more consistency.

Seems pretty good as is. Crit ws are always going to be all over the place, especially multi hit ones factoring in double/triple attack as well as missed hits.

If I had to make any suggestions, swap merira-oto(+1) for twilight helm, and ele gorget/belt and rancorous for atheling if you have them. I'm pretty sure the extra fTP would benefit it better than the str on a 30% mod but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

vorpal blade has a relatively low FTP of 1.0, but unlike the applicable merit WS' it doesn't carry to all hits. ele belt/gorget will end up netting you +20% dmg on the first hit (and some acc if you need it). its probably close, but my instinct tells me its not worth it. i'm not sure how the math would pan out tbh.

I'm kind of confused about dragoon gear in general. I got a Herja's fork, which messed up all of my oat sets.

I'm using:

Herja's Fork/Rose Grip/ /Potestas
Phorcy's/Rancor/Brutal/Gillie +1
Lancer +2/Lancer +2/Tyrant's/Raja's
Atheling/Bullwhip/Phorcys/Lancer +2

I didn't realize until looking at the spreadsheets that this isn't a real 5 hit. Unless I'm mistaken; 13.36*1.55=20.7(rounded) 20.7*4+13.36*1.26(I weaponskill in 11 STP)=99.6 TP. I haven't seen a single instance of 99 TP, but it's improbable anyway.
I set Kokou's earring, giving 13.36*1.56=20.8, 20.8*4+16.8=100 but the spreadsheet tells me it still takes 4.03 rounds/WS, which seems fishy. Can anyone explain that?

I'd originally assumed that this set would be better:

Enif/Ogier's/Tyrant's/Raja's

Isn't Herja's Fork STP requirements the same as OAT?

Assuming this for Stardiver:

Assuming minimum of 2 hits, you would need 54 STP.
Herja's/Rose/Hagneia
Phorcys/Mala/Kokou's/Brutal
[Body Slot]/AF3+2/Tyrant's/Brutal
Rancorous/Goading/Phorcy's/AF3+2

Body slot could be Enif or Ker's (Or Ace's). 54STP and Capped Haste.
That set should also work for OAT.

For any one-hit proc WS you may need, just swap in Ogier Gauntlets for it.
