well here goes:

I just got a ragnarok lol (lvl90 at this point, pretty stoked, only took me 7 years to get a relic, lmao)

and i've mainly been doing stuff on war, but my dark is leveled.

my question: I have a phos belt, and i just got a goading. my simple math has lead me to believe that the standard for TP sets is to get a 6hit /sam (or 51 store TP, not counting TP from WS for a true 6-hit)
Are their any builds where I'd be using the phos for the extra 2% haste? I'd like to re-sell it if i can, the gil isn't super important but i could use it to fund my smithing mule some more, but i'm wondering if it's worth it to keep the phos

additionally, i occasionally play Sam,pld,drg so i'm curious if the phos could find uses for those jobs also?

honestly, (and dear god this is a derail and a half, please forgive me slycer,kohan,blue names of the ffxi forum) but i've tried to re-find that gif, becuase there were 2 others that went with it, all around the same concept, (people in awe at... something) and i can't fucking find it again

Considering no Wanion Belt: Caudata or Pipilaka for Mercy Stroke? My guess is Caudata unstacked, Pipilaka SA, Creudelis TA? But don't want to carry around Pipi and Caudata due to inventory.

Also, I know Exen is better unstacked than Mercy with 95 Dagger, but is it still with 99 Dagger? And with both 95 and 99 dagger, which is the best of the two when stacked with TA? (Assuming Mercy is best for SA with both).

Exent is still better unstacked at 99, difference being a lot smaller though. Can't give math on it though, but 99 mercy is the next best unstacked ws at least.

Just 99ed my Apoc and 90ed my ukon. I've been a mage most of my time in ffxi so pardon if i sound ignorant but what pulls ahead vs Ig-Alima given the same buffs (2x march, chaos, fighters, boost str, haste, champions, stalwarts, bravers, monarchs) and ideal sets/atmacites for the respective jobs? I imagine Apoc with Entropy beats 90 ukon by a pretty fair amount?

Actually, could be attack issues too. Depending on quality of buffs, drk/war would have a good lead on war. I totally missed the whole chaos roll thing though, so that favors war. lol

90 Ukon by a fair margin. Apoc is pretty shit tier in terms of DD potential, thats with a 2 song bard (marches) and a cor, food and stalwarts

Edit: I also added in crit defense bonus too

I think if for some reason you didn't have a cor, it would favor apoc though right?

Perfect your gears if you haven't yet, select the right atmacites, parse yourself.

Even with just food/zerk/agg I still get ukon winning by a much smaller margin. Gear sets for drk taken from taint's ah page and war done from ejiin's guide on ah.

I'm sure you could optimise both sets for the mob and slightly change the results.

Does anything beat sublime breastplate for Hexastrike? I'm thinking of tossing away some research marks on a ws body but i cant remember if there's something better off the top of my head.
