How do you set the threshold between having a "great amount" and not having it?

Not sure I get this question but to chime in on spurrina vs nares just multiply your total pet mab (including 40 from base stats) and BP dmg with each set. Bam easy answer is easy.

There are only 4 sources of bp dmg that I know of and 2 are ra/ex from legion so assuming you only have af3+2 for bp dmg besides the gloves you'd need to have to have more than 76 pet mab before gloves for spurrina to win. So at least 37 from gear/atmas etc not including gloves. Max petmab from gear without gloves not including nirvana is 30 so yeah unless you in abyssea or have nirvana nares going to win.

That's good to know. I recently got Nares and was unsure wether or not to use them in my magical BP set. So far I used AF2+2 (aug), guess I'll swap with Nares Gages now

try using mobs with realistic stats and not just wild rabbit/ADL types of situation high buffs zergs.

if you want to absolutely TP in thaumas though use this:

usu+1 somen/thaumas body/usu+1 hands/twilight belt/usu+1 leg/thaumas nails,

perferably this:

usu+1 somen/thaumas body/nomkhapa mittens/windbuffet/usu+1 leg/usu+1 feet

and ultimately this

usu+1 somen/thaumas body/tenryu + glove/windbuffet/khepri legs/usu+1 feet.

During impetus nothing can beat (pending new epansion gear):

usu+1 head/AF3+2 body/nomkhapa or tenryu+1/twilight/byakko/usu feet+1

I'm looking forward to the new crafted GKT. If the HQ has at least +100TP bonus it's probably going to be better than Kanto?
Sure the delay is very low, but with all the amount of STP available to SAMs these days I assume a 6hit should be very easy to attain, not so sure about 5hit, that might require a bit too many compromises.

Feet. Hands aren't going to be a very large improvement against most enemies, if they're an improvement at all.

Hands: -9 STR, +5 VIT, -2% DA, -21.75 attack (also lose set bonus, if you use any other pieces)
Feet: STR+3, VIT+3, Attack -3-4, Acc+12-13, STP+5

Yes, he means that they are situationally better. Shoha's attack boost isn't always useful.

I'm assuming you're asking for the ws kill trials for Gungnir. Only reason to ever use Geirskogul. I'd go with 3% WSD because you should be capped fSTR on anything you'd be doing those trials on and the ws mod is AGI.

Shoha's boost comes from the att bonus and the x2 chances for multi hit procs. (higher spikes)

If attack is capped (or close to capped) Fudo and Kaiten(99) are far superior WSs.
