It doesn't seem too hard to do it without nerfing your WS set.

I didn't look at any builds that sacrificed haste anymore than dropping it from 26% to 25% and needed more STP which I could gain if I had harder to get gear, such as Rose Strap, Usk. Sune-Ate +1 and Phorcys head, but I don't atm. If you're dropping the haste value down then I do not know how that would affect the comparisons (instead of checking how the -haste would affect it I simply decided to prioritise getting this gear much higher than before in anticipation for this awesome GK).

How does the new 144 DMG GK compare to a 99 Amano? I am guessing that Amano still wins but would anyone care to make an educate guess of just how close those two are now? I am guessing Amano by 15% difference or so?

like someone mentioned, if you needed the acc, in the long haul, amano will win in DPS

everyone must also remember when it comes to acc/DA/TA/QA vs STP against higher mobs, a 5 HIT may not necessarily always win a 6 hit. Spreadsheet already proved this. Xhit is no longer a priority.

Optimising your buffs (dependant on your support in group), your food (rcb or pizza +1) and your target is more impt than maintaining a Xhit

my drk/war ragnarok 8 hit build is better dps than my 7 hit, believe it or not
for my apoc/war, i prioritise 6 hit even if dps is lower because when i use apoc, i rather get faster 100% TP to drain HP than dealing more damage....

There is a sizeable difference between common levels of stp for drk and sam. 5 hit should always be winning unless you are using a hybrid set (at which point you obviously aren't too fussed on optimal DD or it wouldn't be a hybrid set). Rag drks tp/ws damage split is not exactly similar to Samurai either.

That said, after putting them into spreadsheet I get Amano coming out very slightly ahead in situations with capped acc and both using Shoha (~2% ahead). Those are the most favorable conditions for the new gkt so any changes to WS/acc will favor Amano.

5 hit for sure as fake pointed out. Also Shoha is only SAMs best WS when Acc is high and ATt is low. Otherwise there is a big advantage having Kaiten99 Fudo or Namas99

How much AGI do typical endgame mobs have? I'm wondering if the 14 DEX (and thus crit rate) might put Karieyh Moufles over Bale Gauntlets +2 when accuracy is needed.

The moufles would raise my DEX from 118 to 132.

Any tping body better than Tocis other than Thamus? NNI PUG runs always devolve into horrific drama and bullshit and after 20 odd runs of people fucking up lamps I want to know if there's some better option than NNI every 3 days and hoping for a group that isnt retarded.

ares head, ares legs, karieyh sollerets, enif body, kokou earring, hagneia stone, letalis mantle

instant power up but lots of salvage spam (and alex for you)

quickest and good fix i can think of atm

ares head, ares legs, 4% haste shoe(hafrn or enif), windbuffet belt, enif body, kokou earring, hagneia stone, letalis mantle could be better in DPS if you dont care about STP but you will need a 1% haste grip or blitz ring. or be pro and get huginn for the extra 1% haste and other awesome stats

Salvage was soloable at 75 (though still needed 3 to enter). And enif/homam is from limbus anyways
