It's fucking obvious pit's are more dangerous then any other said breed. The internet autism for this subject is pretty funny lmao.

A+ trolling in this thread. About as good as any religion thread I've seen on here in 6 years. Keep it up.
Absolutely, because dogs are constitutionally guaranteed equal protection of the law. This law is unfair in that it treats one breed as the worst ...
Voted yes. Pits, rottweilers, dobermans are all naturally aggressive. Oh your pit is the sweetest dog ever? That's what Roy said about his tiger, catch your pit on a bad day
Ya'll niggas are pussies. You need to raise up some Siberian wolves. Since i've learned it's clearly impossible for mankind to have modified genetic traits for aggression from reading this thread it should be safe to assume that having 3 of them howling at the moon will get you covered in bitches like you forgot to turn your swag off before going to bed..
My family has two pit bull mixes (half brothers) which we raised from puppies. When ever they see each other, they literally try and kill one another. That said, I've never seen them attack anyone else... but when they do go at it, it's ridiculous. Blood on the walls, floor, themselves. Someone has to be brave enough to step in and pull them off each other's throat.
Before those two we had a German Shepherd (awesome dog, had her for about 14? years) and some other kind of mix. Neither would ever attack anyone or anything, maybe a warning growl, but that was it. Awesome dogs. So yes, I believe pits are inherently dangerous from personal experience.
Not paying $1,500 for a "pure" dog, so I can't really post in this thread without pulsating with an intense bias, so I'll stay out of it. I'll just say this: if someone with a pittbull has their or someone else's infant killed by said pittbull, they had it coming, no matter what.
Clearly everyone should just get cats instead.
I think that some dog breeds in general are more aggressive because they were originally bred to be that way.
But does that mean every dog from that breed is dangerous? No. You can always have a singular dog with a naturally different personality, or you can train your dog to inhibit natural aggression.
I really wish everyone did that amount of background-checking and consideration before paying some puppymill fuck. The sad truth, is people like you, myself, and other responsible owners in here are well above the average intelligence of people who purchase puppies or even adopt dogs.
Because of how retarded humans tend to be, higher risk dog breeds are going to remain higher risk as a majority of dogs in the world are going to end up in a less-than-ideal environment (where their "bad" bred-in traits will shine). Any dog can bite, but the question is how likely is it? Obviously, the ones that were programmed to attack are more likely to attack.
My family had a German Shepherd when I was young. She came from a litter that two local K-9 units had. They were both solid, well-behaved, serving police dogs. However, it was definitely a type of dog that was bred specifically to protect and defend territory and/or its family. She was well-trained, socialized in obedience classes, blah blah. We had zero problems with her other than her deep hatred for cats (amen). One day, a dumb kid I barely knew wanted to play in my back yard. I opened the door and he went running out into the yard even though I blatantly told him to stop because I had a dog back there (who had no idea we were there yet). He ran anyways and him and my dog just about ran into each other as they turned a corner. Of course, my dog bit the shit out of him, drew blood, etc. etc. and we ended up having to defend our dog's actions, persuade the cops that I warned the kid, and prove her papers were legit, and whatnot so she wouldn't be immediately taken and euthanized. The moral of the story is that her biting some (fucking moron) kid had nothing to do with how she was raised/trained/etc. The bred-in insticts to defend her home from any assumed intruders was deep-seeded enough to override all of our socialization and training for that split second... which was all it took to almost get her put down.
If the same situation happened with my current dog (Malamute), which is not bred for any aggression/protection traits whatsoever... I know for a fact that, upon running into idiotkid, she would have immediately assumed it was FUCKING PLAYTIME OMG and dropped down with her butt in the air, ran some figure-8s all turbo, and all would be fuckin' hunky dory... instead of immediately and instinctually biting his fat ass.
Hard to say. Pit bulls have unnaturally powerful jaw strength compared to other breeds. They're also famously territorial when it comes to their owners.
Pit bulls in general probably have more legislation towards them then any other dog breed in existence... And those legislations weren't created on a whim.
Know which breed was bred to attack humans? Not pitbulls. Also, pitbulls have weaker jaws than German shepards, albeit not by much. And for comparison sake, Pits can apply 5 more lbs of pressure compared to labs, and 3 less than german shepards. Jaw strength is largely irrelevant.
They have more legislature against them because they are the chosen breed for ILLEGAL dog rings, so obviously they would be targetted.
They were also the chosen breed for LEGAL dog rings before they were ILLEGAL dog rings.
I don't really see what that has to do with anything, unless of course you would like to provide some info on pre- and post- criminalization of dog ring on pitbull legislature...
Just bustin' your chops because you fail to understand that they are an aggressive breed and have been for a looooooooooooooooooong time, long enough to have seen legal bloodsports in this country. You liking them doesn't somehow erase their original purpose or temperement.
