Skirkle I'm on season 4 episode 17, and I still don't get how this is better than Community. I mean, it's "ok" but shit is def not top tier. Aziz is funny once every 5 episodes, the best part is Aubrey Plaza and Andy whoever plays him. I liked the Leslie/Ben thing at the beginning, and I like it still, but it feels like it's already played out. Also, pretty much no character development.
there is character development but I'm not arguing with you about it because it's subjective and you're gonna ignore every point I make anyway
shitty, exaggerated and simplistic, but should get the idea across

There's slight character development, but it mostly seems to last for the remainder of the episode. I could literally go back to day 1, and I think every character is nearly the same outside of Ann. Hell, Tom is stagnant outside of his business thing blowing up. Look, the reason I ask is because I'm being sincere and want to know what you think about it, not because I'm going to shut down/ignore everything you bring up.
stfu im bad at maths and sciences
If I judge it straight off of comedy, then I've laughed more in a single community episode than I have over the course of watching Parks and Recs. Then on top of that, Community references run deep and hell and the call backs and writing is fantastic. There's been more character development in the last 4 episodes of Community than there has been in a season of parks, in my opinion.
and its not a real six episode spread i was jsut trying to put a visual to skirk's words
I HEARD SQUIDBILLIES TALK WAS GOING ON IN HERE
skirk's point is not that you have to find parks funny, but that if you do it's more consistent than community, which is a valid point
That is to say, I enjoyed watching it, will probably continue to watch it, but I probably won't watch any episodes again, really.
Then, I don't know, maybe I just don't get the funny behinds parks and rec. I got his point from the getgo, but I just feel that Community's Lows are only slightly lower than Parks' high.
I think the best episode was when Andy and April find out they have health insurance, and went to all the hospitals.
Perhaps our differences of opinion have to do with Skirk being a guy that works at a bank and me being a guy that's currently going to school so we relate to each respective show better because of our current situation.
