OP is an arsehole. If you were so shitfaced that you only realised you weren't wearing shoes (and then couldn't be arsed to change them), then you shouldn't even have been let into the establishment. You also wouldn't have needed to even 'slightly exaggerate' your story to the manager if you weren't leaving something out and was definitely in the right. It just sounds like you've had personal beef with this woman before and wanted her fired out of spite. What a dick.

The old lady started off being rude because of some imagined comedic slight.(early signs of senility?) decided to kick the guy out for the booties (which actually was a valid line of reasoning due to broken glass as was pointed out earlier), hung up the phone on a customer, and then left the phone off the hook for over an hour purposely.
That's 3/4 of the stuff the old waitress did wrong as far as her job is concerned.

I keep on hearing people repeat that the restaurant has the right to refuse service but the restaurant also has the right to fire worked who fail to do their job properly and harm their business. Being rude to customers for no reason is a valid reason for firing. Hanging up on a customer is a valid reason for firing. Keeping a phone presumably used to place orders on off the hook for over 1 1/2 hours purposefully is a valid reason to fire a person. The fact that she has had similar complaints means it was part of a widespread patterns of unacceptable service. If atwight didn't get her fired she'd have lasted a week or two more at most since she'd simply be rude to some other customer.

He was either to drunk or too stupid to remember to wear shoes at least twice lol. That alone means we can't really trust his side of things. He exaggerated to get her fired, as he stated himself. You think he's telling the full story here. He probably gave her attitude out the ass and was probably as drunk as the rest of his friends (nigga didn't even have shoes on)

That's covered by the fact that she has had similar complaints against her. She does it enough for it not to be surprising to her superiors. Her bosses probably had alot of restraint(probably because she was old) not firing her before atwight showed up. Atwight hallucinating his story in a way that just so happens to fall under the waitress's established behavior is very unlikely when alcohol isn't a hallucinoge(yes him lying is an option)n. I've forgotten to wear a helmet on my bike as the breeze ran through my hair until told by another person before while completely sober. Shit sometimes happens and atwight needs to start leaving shoes in his trunk.
