I went to a 'Jam' this weekend, and there were a lot of Caribbean girls, not too many African girls as far as I could tell. All kinds of ranges of browns and caramels, some mixed girls, really not that many Charlie Murphy caliber of dark skin. Lots of weaves and wigs (can I say that red weaves actually look really hot on the right girl? Red like Rihanna's hair, not gingers that's disgusting)
Anyway, previously I had understood my unattraction to black women as likely based on facial features, and I had mentioned that certain girls in Jay-Z videos broke the mold in a satisfying way for me. But after seeing all these girls dressed up for dancehall music, I realized I may not have been exposed to enough black girls "with their hair did, with their nails done" etc.
I've largely avoided 'black clubs' because I don't like a lot of the attitude of the club-goers there, I don't feel like getting stared down or attempted to be intimidated etc, and honestly, when they start playing soca at the end of the night at generic clubs, I consider it get-out music, not much different than turning the lights on at the end of the night in a bar.
I know raggy (and his gf) were wondering why people (not just white people) didn't find black women attractive, and the thread honestly didn't shed much light on why people did, they just said they didn't and said bla bla bla purple octopus etc.
I made this thread because I saw a lot of attractive black girls in one place and considering I've seen about (to me) 5 attractive black girls in the last year prior to this weekend, and I saw at least 40+ datable (keep in mind I have literally never considering dating a black girl, so datable is a tier above attractive)
anyway, looking to rejuvenate the discussion
