The trick is to be as honest as possible from day one, don't go to bed angry when at all possible and air out all the small stuff before it snowballs. If you have too many things being nagged about, and one leads to another, and you hear about something (for the first time) that you did six months ago, it's time to just pack up and go. There's no salvaging that.

One thing to remember though, is nagging isn't always a bad thing, usually it just means they are still hurting about something that happened and want to talk about it. If they are, however, doing it to be bitchy and not constructive, then bounce, that shit ain't worth it
