oh.. its definitely similar to the Ukonvasara. similar in the sense that as compared to other Great Axes out there, thats probably the closest one that resembles it.
notably, the axe bit on both is a like a unique piece attached to the rest of the head.
the handle curves out at the top and the eye (if there even is one) appears perpendicular to the handle, which is not the case with any normal battle axe.

but apart from that, they do look rather distinct.

oddly enough it reminds me of the Secret of mana axe also a tanaka game (oddly enough my fav jrpg)

The similarities are vague even before you take into account that Ukonvasara is actually a hammer.
