Here's the lowdown.

The brilliant minds at the production staff of Kokoro Connect decided to do a prank for the director's cut edition of the DVD boxset, and called up a b-list voice actor, Mitsuhiro Ichiki to audition for a "starring role" in their show, they told him he was a "perfect fit"

Needless to say he was floored. He spoke to them on the phonecall (that was taped and played back afterwards publicly for his humiliation) that he was throwing a celebration, taking his mother out to eat, among other things.

He showed up, they did an audition, he held a few radio interviews (all bogus), and they ended it all by telling him that the entire thing was staged, that he wasn't good enough for their show, and that if he wanted, he could have a job "as a janitor, or to clean the toilets or something" in front of a live audience. They then proceeded to make fun of him on a radio show afterwards where the VAs for Aoki (Takumi Terushima) and Yui (Hisako Kanemoto) made fun of his career and called him a worthless actor/person among other things.

Fast forward to the present time, Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki, Kyon, etc) has a talk radio show, and the guy, who's good friends with Sugita came on and explained what happened. Needless to say Sugita was pissed. That started the firestorm that's going on now. Silver Link is getting shelled.

Hopefully they crash and burn. They crushed this guy's dreams in front of him and then laughed at him for it. Reprehensible.

Finally caught wind of this today. He's a well known King of Fighters player as well (known for his Terry play). He was actually slated to go to EVO this year, but the Silver Link bit came up.

I don't know why I'm surprised but he's really good at KOF lol. It's a shame to degrade a man with such talents (I dunno if you saw the audition he did, but he was good in that too).

I would also suggest to add why people feel that this was a harmful prank. Personally, I emphasized with Ichiki. To have one's hope crushed in front of an audience is not funny. Reactions to unusual situations is funny, but losing a job/promotion in front of an audience of strangers and published to the Internet for everyone to see forever is harmful to one's psyche and public image. Those responsible should be punished to avoid public harassment of this type to be stopped

Episode 10 for jinrui wa suitai shimashita was probably the best or 2nd best episode of the season. They seem to be going backwards in explaining the Fairies and mankinds position in terms of humanity.

Finally got around to watching Persona 26 and I have to say it didn't disappoint. The arrangement of the final episode is a little weird if you've played the game but it makes sense given the overall story.

Yu is still the motherfucking boss.

Overall, the series was fantastic with only a few weak points. The ending still gives me goosebumps, I don't want that shit to end.

The only huge appeal this show had for me was that Yu actually had his very own personality and reactions to things. It's definitely a nice breath of fresh air and I hope they utilize that for future lead roles.

That's probably the main hook for people who've played the game, and they certainly didn't disappoint with it. I dunno why I liked Yu before, but I know why I like him now lol.

I imagine whatever they do with Persona (animated) they'll follow behind P4 and give the protagonist a voice and role. P3's MC was never as interesting to me as Yu (how? I dunno) but I'm looking forward to it anyway.

I think that's the case, I just wasn't entirely sure on the specific details. They would never release the series as a TV show, considering the teens are constantly shooting themselves in the head with their evokers.
