Ok, with the US broadcast season over, I can finally go and watch all the winter shows I'm half through, look and see if anything in spring actually turned out to be worth watching (besides Fate), and generally devote some braintime to anime.

What Gulk said, I generally find the idea of an alternate world populated by hawt dog/catgirls to be awesome and the world had so much potential but good god the story/characters were terribad.

It had one of the worst stories I can remember in a long time. I pretty much wrote out how the last 3 episodes would go and that there'd be a second season with the exact same shit that we've seen in the PVs. It's so predictable that it's boring.

The good things about it are that it's lighthearted entertainment, has some light fanservice, and everyone has cute ears and a tail. I also like the fantasy setting with a bit of sci-fi (but fuck all that idol stuff)

Oh, I actually thought there was some concept I was missing aside from the obvious "It has dog girls/ecchi!" thing. I can't agree with even calling it a good concept... cause it sounds like anime 101.

I think it's good because I enjoy a fantasy setting and I'm not as fond of when cat/dog-people are mixed with regular humans. A society of nothing but them is interesting to me. I guess Utawarerumono kind of had that going on too (and I love that show).

speaking of this show... was there ever an ova ep 3... ep 2 was kinda ;/ but the onsen Ep1....
