I just had.... had to checkout the Asa made Jugyo Chu video (this work pc almost died loading the youtube video o_O), i've randomly read the manga, it'll be a very interesting watch indeed from what i've seen... although the main character has to crossdress or something, its main focus is on the girls trying to protect/be with him in one way or another O_o

Will have to checkout the other videos when I get off work, especially blood-C, here's to hoping its semi decent watch

Ok finally caught up (except for Moretsu)

Kyousogiga: WHAR MOAR?!

Thermae Romae: Short and great. Perfectly long enough to work the material.

Rinne no Lagrange: Not bad. Not amazing, but solid and watchable. Will see what S2 does.

Inu x Boku SS: Surprisingly good. I'm not familiar enough with the genre to compare it to other things, and judge it that way. To whoever was asking about it in the winter thread, yeah, go watch it.

Nisemonogatari: Still great. Maybe a bit not as good as the original, but the best "not as good as the original" I can think of.
I know it was true to the novel and the material was originally for Nisiosin himself, but all this imouto stuff lately is really getting on my goddamn nerves.
In context though, up to the end, the toothbrush scene is SO absurd it does manage to be funny. If Karen had instead, started overreacting just to freak out Koyomi and win, THAT would have been normal top tier -monogatari character behavior.
Most of the sexy in Bakemonogatari was smart, thinking sexy. Here it was more pandering, fanservice sexy. More of the former less of the latter net time please.

Last Exile Fam: It's good on it's own. It just has trouble when compared to the original. The original had lots of awesome people (Alex, Sophia, etc.), doing awesome things, for awesome reasons, and a leading into b is generally rock solid. Fam, not so much.

Guilty Crown: The big issue is, it could have been so great, but dropped it's shit so hard, that despite the whole package rounding out to average, the lost potential makes it hard to forgive. I'd call Rideback better than GC, but that's a bit unfairly harsh to Rideback.

Pre-Spring thoughts in a post-spring enviroment, or, the "let's watch this new guy watch Homestuck" effect.

For the record, I haven't looked through the spring thread yet.
Once I catch up on Moretsu, I shall have look at: Lupin, Upotte, Nyaruko, Jormungand, and Fate/Zero (ofc)

My feeling of hype-space right now is telling me Upotte and Nyaruko are performing above expectations. Not a lot of pings about Accel World (impression is, just go for Sword Arts, it'll be outright better) or Medaka Box (I'm assuming it's one of Gainax's post-awesomeshow slump series?)

The story follows a "time researcher" and a group of children in a depopulated world that finds itself stuck in time. In order to save humanity, some of the characters are chosen to travel to the future (depicted in the anime), and others to the past (depicted in the manga), while those who are deemed unsuitable for the technology stay in the present (depicted in the novel.)

For the manga about the story's past, Iruma is collaborating with artist Kendi Oiwa (Goth, Tsukumo Happy Soul, Welcome to the N.H.K.). For the novel about the story's present day, he is collaborating with illustrator Kurehito Misaki. Finally, he is planning the anime about the story's future with the studio MADHOUSE, the production company Aniplex, and musical composer Satoru Kousaki (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari).

The entertainment trade magazine Variety reported on Wednesday that Toei Animation will co-produce the upcoming animated series Miraculous (tentative title) with the French animation company Zagtoon. The comedy action series will be set in Paris and will follow the adventures of a justice-seeking teenage girl named Marinette who has super powers.

Variety reported that the 26-episode series has a budget of US$11.2 million and has a "colorful manga style." Aton Soumache's Method Animation (The Little Prince) studio is also co-producing the series.

Miraculous is currently in production.

Story
Marinette Cheng, a shy high-school student, has inherited some magical ladybug-shaped earrings. The ornaments grant the power of Luck to whoever wears them. Yet there is one condition : they have to be worn in an altruistic manner, or else, beware of the consequences !

l Whenever the situation needs it, Marinette turns into LADYBUG, the guardian angel.

Ladybug saves the World every night thanks to the power of Luck alongside her clingy ally, the Black Cat who has the opposite power. He needs a kiss from Ladybug to free him from his unlucky ring. Ladybug is the first character originated from the Quantic universe.
