Castanic male is an abomination.
Anything not Elin is an abomination.
A lot of this may be influenced by a certain guildmate, but aside from Elin, the only other characteristic I'm okay with is a high elf male priest.
MLG as shit.
Mad over a vidya threatening divorce... My face...
I'm going to get breakfast on campus now, I'll type one up when I get back for the first two based on experience. Lowest I've gotten Queen in our limited tries is 70% and we're still learning so I'll leave that to others since I have never actually killed her myself. (Meaning I know how to do it in theory and I've watched it done live NA, just never done it myself so I don't feel comfortable making a guide for it yet).
The actual dungeon is a joke considering your DPS is high enough. I'm not one to write guides, but if you're wondering if you have a chance at clearing MC up until Plexus for like gear and shit, there's no reason to not just go in there.
If anything, just glitch the bosses.
As far as queen goes, we've had I think 4-5 honest attempts at it as my static is one of those inferior working class statics. AHEM.
Tonight is gonna be expensive though, since they don't work so we're hoping to finally put down some manly hours and get shit done. lol
Manaya's Core - First Boss - Hrathgol
You have 6 minutes to kill this before it enrages.
- 80/60/40/20% - He runs to the middle of the room and does a move called "Cellular Division". It does a severe bleeding effect on the 3 closest members to him at the time that will kill you without heals to top you off. The way to stop it is to wait for his text message to appear on screen - then use your debuff moves. Fiery and Glacial escape are especially good for this. Set this up by having your Lancer stay in his tanking position against the wall and have the 3 dps be the ones closest to the boss while he does it. If properly done, he will resume his normal attack patterns and go back to your tank. If you fail, have the dps back up to the healer and have them stop attacking and wait until the debuff wears. Once it's off, resume.
- Throughout the fight he has a few random hate moves. One of them is a set of Jellyfish adds similar to what Meldita spawns in AC. It's a set of 2-3, and if you are hit by them full on you are most likely going to die instantly. He can do this more than once. You can see it coming from a few things: 1) The person targeted gets a purple random target circle 2) He turns to the person he is going to summon on 3) He will make a summoning motion at that targeted person and then once they are summoned he will switch hate to them for 10-15 seconds and there is nothing you can do to get it off of them. If you see yourself get targeted just run, you can avoid the jellyfish by running away. Eventually they will stop chasing you and become sedentary. After that just avoid running into them. However, you still need to avoid the boss. Just be smart and try to survive until his temporary agro on you is off and your tank can get it off you.
Things to Note:
1) He can't spawn Jellyfish while he is enraged, so I like to wait until the last cell division at 20% and then enrage him for a final zerg to make sure no Jellyfish will spawn.
2) He is VERY squishy. Your lancer needs to glyph agro stuff (especially the new shield barrage glyph) because your dps WILL tear this thing up and rip it off you more than normal.
3) HUGE trample damage, you need to get the fuck out if it starts or you will most likely die.
Manaya's Core - Second Boss - Melkatran
You have 6 minutes to kill this before it enrages.
- 70/50/20% - He runs to the middle of the room and spawns adds around him in a circle. He will do this 3 times in a row before the move finishes. There are two types, red and blue. An onscreen text message will appear stating which color you need to kill. The reason for this is because when the boss spawns each of the three sets he also puts a buff on himself, represented by a shield icon with a number next to it. The ones you are supposed to kill ADD to that buff. The ones you aren't supposed to kill TAKE AWAY from that stack. If he has even one stack left at the end of the third wave of adds, he blows up on you and you wipe. Do it like this: 1) Break the room into 4 areas which are North/South/West/East. 2) Each DPS gets a direction and the healer/tank get another that they share. 3) When the message pops and you see which adds to kill, kill all of the correct ones in YOUR AREA. 4) Once everything in your area is complete move counter-clockwise and see if your neighbor has any stragglers. 5) When it's all clear move back to your original position and do it again until the third wave finishes.
- He also has a move where he will raise his shield and then place a white circle around himself. If you're hit, it stuns you. And then he follows it up with a circle damage move that either 1) has a white safe zone, or 2) the whole thing hurts you. It's somewhat hard to avoid, I usually just get healed through it because it doesn't do that much.
- Periodically he puts this DoT on you marked by an onscreen message about "parasites". If you don't get rid of them in 30 seconds, you die. Simply get rid of them by jumping. Your screen also gets "infected" so it's hard to miss it.
Things to note:
1) During the final 20% add spawn phase, have your Lance infuriate the boss and ignore the adds. Zerg it down. It's squishy, but you need to make sure it dies before that third wave ends. It's easy and saves you time if you are behind.
2) HUGE trample damage, you need to get the fuck out if it starts or you will most likely die.
The only way they stop moving is if they are on top of your hitbox. You either blink or backstep away, or somehow avoid it on accident without noticing, but other than that, they don't just stop moving on their own. If they never hit you, they will die after 30 seconds while still chasing you, so careful of that.
Very soon those will say "Soulbound to Saithis." Hopefully we can get it masterworked and +12 before he finds out.
Haha
Finally got Full T14, got lucky... 2 MC runs 2 cloth drops
I really hope they patch that shit soon. The armor being available to anyone who knows how to glitch it is pretty stupid.
Even if you fail the timer, how does the first guy not kill you when he summons the jellyfish? Those don't hit hard enough to be affected by the glitch.
