I'm asking because I don't know how trustworthy the recommended specs are, since i'm slightly above minimum but I still get 30 or less FPS in highly decorated areas on all low settings. I want to be able to run the game on max settings with 60ish FPS.

Other non-specified specs of my computer: AM2 mobo, 7200 RPM HDDs, 500 watt mid-range PSU, ANTEC-300 computer case
My only worry if I get a new GPU is will it fit, and will my PSU be strong enough.
I have about 600$ I could spend on upgrading whatever parts you guys think I should upgrade.
