Also, iirc, I'm pretty sure Blizzard had a mobile authenticator for Androids for Starcraft 2, mayhaps they have one for D3, too.. I just didn't check it out.

Yeah I've been using the mobile authenticator. Got hacked less than a week after launch? No issues since.

disconnects sucks; my ISP pretty weak too (no real healthy competition in any sector here)

i've been fortunate and survived a number of disconnects, but i've been in a multiplayer game probably 85%+ of my playtime, and i know that's helped a little. i'll spike a couple times each primetime session up to 600-800 ms maybe two or three times; it's sketchy every time. i try to get to town or stay there if that's where i first see evidence of latency slowing

really nothing you can do though..
guess.. til our country builds just slightly fewer tanks and attack choppers and works on covering some pretty vast square mileage (yes i know it's a daunting task but definitely feasible) with Korea or Finland-quality intertubes for most everyone. it just needs to line the pockets of the powerful appropriately, ya know. Cause right now, having many many subpar ISPs with terrible infrastructure over much of the western continental US has become far more profitable and lucrative than giving us the good stuff. give me some of that blazing action, i'm talking like Korea-to-Asia-server 31 ms steady at almost all times. might 'lag spike' to 170 ms, oh no, watch out

Yeah my problem is that I almost never get actual lag (I do get a tiny bit slow during prime time but nothing meaningful), just my internet occasionally drops instantly with no warning whatsoever.

tbh I'm surprised I made it as far as I did, it was kind of a test run and turned out to be a failure, only thing that really annoys me is I would've at least gotten lv 40 achieve within a couple hours

for now I'll be sticking with softcore almost entirely, but I noticed there's a fiber optic cable running about a half mile away (I live in the boonies so it's kind of a big surprise), so I'm hoping I'll be able to get onto that before long and maybe consider a bit of serious gaming again, which I haven't really done any of since the big WoW tourney at the start of arena season 2

My connection was a bit shaky last night, so all I did was farm pony staff parts. Briefly logged onto my Wiz and toyed around with blizzard + venom hydra on mobs in A2 NM. Everything was melting, even champ packs. Such a powerful combo for kiting stuff.

Should just elect 1 person to get it and the others give donations so staff is made faster and cost less for everyone

A collective staff seems like a good idea. I haven't done anything yet that costs money, so, I'm in if other people are in...and Azurak is always ready to open the portal whenver we want

Whipz.. I just did NM Belial myself last night and am also 45. Wasn't as scary as I thought.. I was farming through a2 with 16k/1650 and went to 19k/1350 for Belial, dropped to 60% hp for only a second. Public games ftw. Lets play kkkkkkkkkkkkk

How are the drops in A2 NM?

I find I've hit a bit of a gear plateau, where unless I feel like dropping 100-200k per piece on the AH, I'm not seeing significant upgrades.

That said I'm at 13k/870

Hay, I has a question about upgrading my weapon. This is what I'm currently using:

Theres obviously L45 bows available with higher weapon dps, but the 130 DEX is huge for my DH damage. I'm assuming the DEX isn't counted in the weapon dps since DEX isn't a generic damage mod. Without blowing money on a new bow and just checking the damage difference and hoping for the best.. any suggestions on how to upgrade? Or know of any calculators to figure out damage mods? I'm too lazy to do math atm.

I've noticed that 95% of the drops I'm getting are L30+ gear, as opposed to the 50% or so from a1. Gear is definitely better in a2 then a1, but you'll again hit a plateau. Thats where I'm at now, where I'm spending a lot of money for minimal upgrades. Hopefully a3 will be better.
