So I just beat normal mode on my bard. I was level 33 with about 5.9k life and kinda shitty dps. I've gone on to do Act1 on NM. Is my best option for leveling to just go through the 4 acts again or should i be farming gear before I progress in leveling or should I just farm specific quests to ge my levels up a bit?

Yeah Euph! tons of fun clearing A1 Hell lastnight. Good laughs on vent... "we haven't seen any tough mob packs" then the game tosses frozen mortar jailer plague at us.

Went back to a bit of grinding in A1 this morning. Dinged lvl 55. Think I'll see what I can handle in A2 later today. Been checking the AH, and any upgrades were minimal at very high prices. Hoping for some more jewel tome drops and at least upgrade via gems.

Hardcore Character turn into Softcore Character

To do that,
go to your softcore character and sell something
then go to your hardcore character buy something
lastly pick up everything in the auction house with your hardcore character
and boob your hardcore Character turn into soft core and all your hard-work goes to waste!

I WANT MY CHARACTER TURN BACK INTO HARDCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got like 3 characters into NM, but still haven't gotten into Hell yet.

Still, only 1 death (weird lag death in act 3 near launch) so I've got that going for me...

Almost just log my 35 barb to lag. I was playing with like 70ms for the longest time then all of a sudden i looked at it spiked to 1800 ms. Luckily i was by a porter and was able to get back with less then 300hp.

Friend and I just d/c going after ZK's head, same thing. was fine all evening, spiked to 1500 then lagged out of the game. can't get back in now.

Congrats Euph, way to run ahead!

I've been dipping my toe into the shallow end of A2 Hell. Trying to get my gear more up to date. Had some run ins with some nasty mob packs. Had some bats that were teleport jailer invulnerable in sirroco caves, experienced my first enrage timer, thankfully got out of there.

Curious how my stats look. I know my DPS is a bit low, weapon is the next thing I'll be upgrading, pending some AH sales by tomorrow.

So I was farming Sark in Act1 Inferno. Check-point outside the graveyard. Lagged on the loading screen for 60 seconds and entered the game dead

Should have known better. If I had check-pointed start in town and spent the extra 15 seconds to walk wouldn't have happened

Just now. Honestly I should have died last night. The crash last night, I was doing Diablo (hell) and 60-sec lagged at about 1-2% HP. I think Hydra must have sent Diablo into the phase where he just stands still because when the game did the ridiculous fast forward thing after the lag spike, Diablo was sitting there to be killed. Considering the US servers are getting hammered right now I probably should have known better and played SC for a bit.

I was working on a build where I could survive just such a lag spike in act1 inferno too. If you gear your Entrantress with all INT and a strong +INT 2hander she can solo easy act1 inferno mobs while they wail on you. I think she killed a couple zombies before I died to lag.

Ugh man thats a shitty way to go. :/ I have a few pieces of lower level gear you can use or your way back up and i have tomorrow off if you want help zooming through normal. Back to 45 on mine...hoping to be through nightmare by tomorrow night.

I'm pretty peeved right now. I was taking my time through the beginning of A2. Getting all my gear up to par, getting an extra level, and just playing smart. There was really nothing I could have done other than take on Magdha. Then the game didn't beat me, battle.net beat me.
