I thought I could pull a cool move in Act 2 on those by stacking buttloads of Life, and when there's a bunch of bees floating towards me, using Serenity - Reap What Is Sown and purposefully run through them all and then straight into a pack of mobs.

So far the damage from Serenity - Reap What Is Sown is pretty fucking garbage, even when I do that. Is it that a player's max life just can't compare to a mob's life later in the game and that's why their health bars barely move?

Elite bees have about 500k hp, so if you had 50k you couldn't do more than 10% of their life with it. Non-elites I'm not sure on numbers but it's like 40-50k.

It could just be that you're not getting them in range in time for the explosion.

I drunkenly blazed through NM A3 last night. Sitting at lvl 49, 24k HP, and 2.2k DPS. Feels like my wiz is much better equipped and stats than the one I lost to DC death. Goal for tonight is to get back to Hell. Can't wait to fucking pistol whip Magdha in a few days!

Just bought a ton of stuff with the 18m I made off that ring. Sitting at 55k hp 700 all resist 930loh 8kdps 7950 armor.

Also as of late people been putting up STUPIDLY good shit for cheap. Got 8% life 55 all resist 60 vit 50 dex 16mf shoulders for 250k.

Similar stat bracers for 120k.

Got home, saw Euphoria online, and took down NM Diablo!!! We ran into some shitty champ packs in the silver spire, even went red screen once. But, Diablo down, dinged lvl 50, back to Hell!

Either going to grind A3/A4 NM to lvl 51-52 (I feel that's where I was when I started Hell last time) or take things VERY slow in the beginning of Hell.

If you got raped by those while playing barb then save your WOTB for a ohshit I'm frozen moment rather than dps burst unless you can kill them before it wears off. I never get in a bad spot with frozen mobs b/c I always save it as my oh shit button and don't fight them again until it's up.

Yeah, 50 seems a bit low. Items were dropping that I couldn't equip yet, which instantly makes me feel like I need to gain another lvl or two. Trash mobs were dropping like flies, but champ/rare packs are the real litmus test.

For now though, lvling my DH through normal, just to get it done. such a yawn fest!

post patch you have a % chance to get items much higher than your level an hell -- 50 is AOK for A1hell, but you have to play your cards right. I agree with syn -- on monk I save all my moves for waller/frozen/jailer/arcane. 7-sided is mainly for jumping through ice balls, serenity is for arcane, etc.

Just lost my first char lv 51 mnk in hell difficulty act 1.

Provided I skip all the CS' and stuff now, how long do you think it'd take to catch back up to where I was?

Probably a good time to die though really, can put some more study time in and worry about starting up again after my next exam.


Gonna do mnk again when I reroll. I'll do some research this time around. Any place to start?

Pretty much just ran in my first time experimenting and fucking around. Didn't really bother to look anything up.

did 0-60 on my monk in 2.25 days -- No PL or glitch --but I played like a madman.

My basic strat is to stack the crap out of dex and vit till hell, then focus on resistance and dex while keeping your HP around 50K. Go go go!

Was watching some of Kripparian's live stream and he got Monk to 60 in around 6 hours i guess? He also made it from start to halfway through Hell before the stream finished.

He had a load of Spirit Regen and used Tempest Rush the whole time. Upped his movement speed to a ridiculous amount and plowed through most packs seamlessly. Seems a really cheap way of doing it but it looked like the fastest way to level and progress i've seen so far. Also helped he had a 600~ DPS Polearm in Nightmare.

The weapon in that case certainly helped. Considering most will probably be sitting on sub-200 DPS types early-to-mid Hell without good luck or AHing, I'd say he probably tripled the speed it'd take to go from 51 to 60.

I also made it to a1h last night. 51 DH, 29k hp, 3900 dps. I'd love a tank if neone wants to farm/xp tonite

Movement speed from eq caps at 25%, and its not possible to get there until 37 as far as I kno. Can get 18% with slave bonds at 32, and 25 with talisman of aranoch at 37
