I'm starting to key-hunt in A3 after I got the A1 key to drop yesterday night.

It's true, I logged on! But until I move back home I'm probably just going to in-game lurk, mess with the AH, and maybe start a low lvl toon.

Oxy hi welcome back! That's what I will have going on soon -- the in-game lurk/AH/no HC combat -- as it's back to work next Thursday. I'll just have a laptop with sketchy wireless (assuming the power is on..)

I told Fireal that we need to help me get going at flipping so I can come back in to wealth. The biggest challenge will be getting a few good buys to start with since I only have 50mil. I need a 50mil buyout weapon AH listing that's worth 200mil. Plzthx

I imagine when everything is connected and running I will have latency around 1100-1200ms. We will see; it may be worse. And the power would usually go out daily a few times. I might try level my sc lv11 wiz if I've got time. But I know it'll be boring and not the same.. >_>;

I'm already eyeing most, if not all of my upgrades for under 1 mil. Fortunately everything is cheaper than when I left so I should be able to get moderately not awful gear. So you should feel free to hand me any hand-me-downs

In my boredom I started lvling another wiz. I think since the game is so easy on normal I could get characters lvl'd through nightmare, but playing on a trackpad I'm basically playing with one hand.

Yeah but stuff has inflated so much. I've had this 50mil awhile now and have lost multiple bids on single items with most of it, losing to like 70-150mil final prices. However, you're just one good drop/clang away from at least a couple hundred mil, set body pieces for example.

I'll have plenty to get you started back up on your wiz. But some of it will just come after a little fighting where you can use your own demonic essences (acct-bound) to craft high INT pieces.

While some things have inflated, lower-end lvl 60 gear seems to have fallen. I could scrap together a decent set for 1mil. But yeah, all help will be welcome!

For 1m, you could definitely put together a starter inferno set. It wouldn't take you past mp0, but you could farm a3 for 1m I'm sure. Also, like Rora said, gold is indeed inflated from when you last played. That's not to say hardcore economy isn't relatively stable, because it is. There is no doubt market manipulation sometimes, but the laws of supply and demand seem to stay at relatively constant equilibrium.

Rora, if you do play some softcore overseas, I may level one with you. Might not be a bad idea to have a softcore toon leveled to practice builds and future expo. I just don't wanna know if I wanna clog my Hero page with a lolsoftcore character.

Thanks Fireal -- I'm learning just by AH lurking that the economy is shifting a lot. I don't expect a 1mil set to get me as far as I need to go, but, if I can at least start farming, it's a step in the right direction.

Let me know if y'all plan to lvl SC toons. I might as well do that. Since I'm playing with very wonky connections here, better not to waste even junky HC toons I'm making for fun.

You can go a long way with 1m if you're patient. I don't know that I've spent more than 100k on any single item my WD has. I don't kill very fast, but I'm very durable so I am accumulating wealth slowly.

Are any of you guys into that infernal machine thing? I've been idly doing keywarden runs as a way to direct my farming, I'm wondering just how feasible the event is.

I've never done them, but I have been looking into getting carried when I farm up a few more A2 keys. I don't think it's at all reasonable for lower mp people.

Finally ended up progressing on shebarb...Knew it wasn't going to be an issue, but never really felt like doing it.

hc and sc both it's essentially good gear is dirt cheap, amazing gear is holyshitwtfrukidding expensive

Yeah Aurik, I agree that 1mil can get you a decent ways if you're smart with the AH. I pieced together a set last night, just to get an idea of what I can afford when I get back. For about 920k I managed to put together ~33%crit chance, ~195crit damage, ~600vit, ~300int, ~415 all res. Aside from the low vit and res, I'd say that's an okay set to start inferno with.
