Did any of you guys play normal and nightmare HC on higher MPs? Normal was stupidly easy so I played most of it on like MP2, even at 2 it was retarded. 1 shotting rares and killing bosses in like 10 seconds. Started nightmare and turned it up to MP3. Still silly easy.. I went and played a little A3 normal on MP10 just for fun to get a level rq, was nice exp in Arreat and still not very hard at all. Enemies were actually able to drop my HP though for a change. I don't feel like my gear is OP or anything, I started from scratch and didn't get any help. Got lucky with a decent pair of Pox Faulds I sold for 500k so that was nice and helped I guess.

I don't know, maybe you have to have MP set high to feel any kind of challenge on lower difficulties now that they made the game so easy.

MP10 until inferno for me and my buddy. Started a self-found barb a bit ago and that's the first time since pre-mp that i've done something other than mp10 for normal, nm, and hell.

Raised it up to MP10 in NM and it feels pretty smooth, kind of like what I remember NM being the first time I played. Inferno has jaded me on MP I guess since it goes up in such larger chunks, so I always expect some crazy difference when I jump up a bunch.

Still 1 or 2 shotting regular mobs, but champs at least last about 10 seconds now, rares about 5.

I do MP10 until inferno as well. Its sort of slow until L15 (or L10 if you wanna spend 20m) and you can get a socketed weap/helmet. Flawless star ruby and you're one-shotting everything except elites.. they take 2 or 3 attacks. Also, if you can have someone give you A3 wp's, starting to do A3 around L15, the monster density and xp is waaaaaaaaay better then you'll get in a1. Just be careful, shit hits hard and maniacs are mean.

I'll be back Sira, just taking a little break. Probably good timing too, 2 finals next week and graduation next Saturday with a bunch of family coming into town, I'll be pretty busy. But still, losing 1.2-1.5bn in gear in < 1 month is irritating. Admittedly, one was a bad pack engagement and I died, but the second one to a client crash is asdfl;jas;lkfjsa;lkfjas;lfjas;lkfjsa;lkfjas;lfjas; lgjalkjs;hasjkl;fhakjsgha;jhga;kljgfh. I'm down to 77m, a flawless star ruby, a perfect star emerald, and a shitty Mempo... what am I gonna do :<
Oh well, maybe with some graduation money I'll blow a couple hundred bucks on a few billion gold and start over :D

DH to 60 yesterday and eventually went on to paragon 3 but didn't get a pic of it. We went immediately into MP1 which we really shouldn't have, but it did provide for some fun antics and a few red screens. The MP10 was interesting too....so much HP.

arrrrgh+sigh, sorry to hear man. After paragon 20-25, we need to co-op almost full time I thinks, especially after multiplayer bonuses next patch. I know it's frustrating what you've lost, but it's also impressive. Not sure if this will help any but.. I try to look at it like.. there's nothing permanent about our b.net accts, and everyone loses all their borrowed pixels eventually. If you had fun playing, then it was good. Obviously there's nothing fun about days of exp/mf/gf and super quality gear being wrongfully ripped away from you, but the sting fades eventually. Plus, D3 is pretty easy to hop back into after any duration hiatus -- days, weeks, or months. And when they add in Valors and Vampire Gazes and Harlequin Crests with xpacks, the item hunt part will surely *knockonwood* be less tedious.

I like this idea of co-op'ing. Especially once I get my archon off the ground...AKA I'm ready to start playing again. Have been messing around with my lvl 19 barb, that's gonna be my 2nd toon I think.

I just logged in to check out the latency from Ethiopia to the Americas server.. yeah not so hot. It did settle down to about 450ms at its best briefly, but mostly remains in the red about 800ms - 1000ms. I'll be okay to AH, chat, and join in and kill any uniques one may find, but that's about it for the next 6 weeks. For now, I'll try to humor myself on my lv11 sc wiz, but I bet I'll be bored within 30min.

Yesterday in boredom/possible stupidity I killed the butcher with my
barb. Lvl 20 so it was a cakewalk but it would have been a dumb way to die and lose some decent early gear.

Rora -- we're probably almost in the same time zone. We should co-op our SC wizards (or I'll scrap mine for a barb). It will be slightly less boring?

that's a good idea--i'm only 1hr ahead of you--but the internet and power are so sketchy here. Hopefully we'll get some time to mess around; add jfrenchlite#1578 if you don't have that acct on FL

Random discovery (I'm sure this is common knowledge, but I had no idea): While alt-tabbing out of the ring section of the AH with my mouse on an icon I noticed that holding alt will change which ring is displayed for comparison!
