I managed to get 1-shot by Lavarinth on hell difficulty (lv 59 wiz, 24k hp, maybe 150-200 resists). It was about to be a sub-10hr lv60, no plvl. I didn't even know he has a special attack/projectile unique to him. I've never seen ghouls do it before; I noticed it mid-way through the fight it had that potential, nearly dying to a few. He was maybe 10% hp about to go and lands some critical one, 100% hp to dead.

Hell diff is srs, and I too have finally died at level 59.

24k seems a bit low. I like being over 30k for Belial & beyond. But then I play super-conservative, and drop from MLVL 2 to 0 on entering A3.

I heard that our HC paragon levels will be account wide when the expansion hits and we will get credit towards them from any chars we have in the graveyard but not permanently deleted. Does anyone have a source for this possibly?

For HC:
* Paragon xp is not shared between HC and SC
* Paragon points earned on characters that die will not be lost.
* Paragon points previously earned on graveyard characters that have not been deleted will count
* Last I heard they were "investigating" the possibility of recovering paragon points from permanently deleted characters, but my guess is that completely deleted characters are unrecoverable and hence any data on paragon levels earned on them is gone. Oh well.

Why would people ever delete their graveyard characters unless there is a cap to the graveyard?

I didn't really see your bullet points in that link said explicity, and it's a wiki. I was sort of hoping for something official. Since I have a P60 something barb in my graveyard this could prove to be very helpful.

At some point this was clarified in a random blue post. That said, don't delete your graveyard characters and you'll either benefit from it (if true) or not (if false)

Blizz is so lost in their own wave of always-changing RoS info that clearly communicating a point like this to the measly HC community isn't gonna happen. I'll just say again that all paragon experience earned on all living, dead-and-in-list, and dead-and-archived heroes is currently contributing to Paragon 2.0 levels -- and has been for several PTR / RoS Beta patches.

Also note that eventually paragon accumulation will be much faster in RoS, so don't feel like you need to break your back to start at P150+. I'll probably be something like P80 at para2.0 & RoS launch.

XB360 update: Made a SC monk to level 10, unlocked HC. Died at Lv16 in A2 on squishy WD, didn't even get Spirit Walk set. Made a DH, dominated with Rapid Fire a few days, now 60(8) and stronger than any PC char I've had. I'm currently running Inferno, Master I (supposedly ~MP6) in super console cruise control.

I haven't found a Dead Man's Legacy or great gloves yet, but other than that I feel set and nearly done with the character. I have a 1600+ dmg Raven's Wing and my scoundrel has like a 1380 dmg one. Last night I made 3 Infernal Machines and did some uber laps (running other A1 zones can reset the ubers in their still-existing portals). I got mats for 4 Hellfire Rings in about an hour, and called it good after that. My 2nd craft rolled 5.5 cc / 49 cd. The first double-crit item I saw was my HF synth, hehe.

300 PC hours = 100k+ dmg HC char = ~25 console hours. It's about what I would expect, and I've really enjoyed it. I'll look to get the Ultimate Evil (RoS console) edition for PS4 or XBone when it's announced.

edit: oh and gems aren't complete bullshit. It's nice to know it's feasible to make your own radiant stars or marquise.

So I dled the PTR and it did take my graveyard barb putting me at P75 which is pretty cool. What I am wondering though is how I switch from paragon back to normal leveling exp. Maybe the cap is 60 atm for PTR? I dunno but I need 141 million exp for next level and I'm pretty sure that is referring to paragon.

60 is cap for PTR. You need RoS access to level beyond 60.
