Ding Para70. Gold crest obtained!

I did a speed-run of act 1 & 2 on Normal difficulty on my Torment-level WD, and it was surprisingly effective: in ~90 minutes, I picked up 4 legendaries and hit 6 yellow shrines (effectively 60% of a level just from them) as well as accumulating about 120% of a paragon level. I also collected a bunch of rares that are worth selling--now above 50m gold. If you're looking for a low-risk way to play the game, this was awesome, I highly recommend it.

Though I guess resetting progress is a bit sketchy today. They may add the guaranteed legendary to Diablo tomorrow.

Does BG have a hardcore clan and/or is anyone a part of one that accepts random people?

I'm just in the BG clan for now, along with Fireal and Bagels, 2 other exclusive HC players. I've seen a couple others with HC heroes in the list, but it's definitely 85%+ SC.

I'd like to get a BG HC Clan going if we could, or at the least a Community channel thingie.

that other tag I had was never serious, just random overlap with the uniques / achievement hunter community. And keeping just the Community is perfect for that. i can add you to BG Clan Arx~

Reminder that you should be looking to sell anything and everything. AH shuts down in under a week, after which time it will be impossible to efficiently transfer gold.
Diamonds are now listable on the AH, and are selling for a very good price. I sold my stockpile of flawless squares for a cool 3m gold.

Aurik and I did a run last night from ZK, rest of the campaign, and looped back to killing Maghda. Did it all on Normal mode and took maybe 3 hours.

Went from P.40 to P.44 and saw 4 clangs (ivory tower, lidless wall, broken crown, 2-hand mace of brimstone)

Super quick and easy. For pure farming purposes, lower difficulties are a viable option.

Right now I'm just trying to finish out the campaign for all 6 of my 60s. Did Monk and half of Barb yesterday, and my WD has done it already, so 3.5 characters left to go!

I ended up going from P76 0% to P78 70%, and we had yellow shrines stacked out the wazoo (have over 50m banked on all my characters) so we have a constant reflection 25% xp buff. If you're running without the buff above Para 50 you're probably doing it wrong--just go push over an act or 2 in normal and you'll have several levels-worth banked.

Normal runs are fun and stress-less. For now there doesn't seem to be a lot of incentive to push the difficulty. That will change at 70 / Adventure Mode, but for now, Normal is the way to go.

Why are you working on clearing campaign.... So they all have Access to A5?

Bounty xp/gold rewards scale with difficulty so then it makes sense to hit up the higher levels. But for now normal is totally adequate.

Yeah, I reset campaign progress on all of them to get the free legendary off of SK. Now the free legendary is on Diablo, so I might as well clear the campaign in preparation for A5.

Makes sense, might as well get that free Leablo clang.

I forgot that my lidless wall drop has +15% lightning damage, might switch back to a lightning based build.

when they first released the update I played from A2 through the rest of the game on master, then after that I tried Torment 1. T1 was a little bit scary on my DH though so I'm not going to do that yet, don't want to die to a dc or some shit. I started playing on hard and everything just melts, it's ridiculous. Exp is a lot faster and so is loot though so it's nice, at least for now.

I finished campaign on all 6 characters and cracked 100m bank, so now just one goal remains: para 100. 87 down, 13 to go!

First thing I did was disenchant all the rares that I've been keeping because "they might sell". Very liberating.
Second thing: upgrade my remaining gems.

I wouldn't waste gold upgrading gems, gems up to marquise quality are apparently going to drop in game once you get 70. In other news, I ended up with 206mil hc gold, should be enough. Sold 100m of my SC gold for 10 bucks on the rmah the last day, just added it to my bliz account.

edit: and ding 60 on entering act4. now to wait for act5
