After spending some time farming Dragus on Torment 1, and getting 5 materials in 11 kills, I decided to make a bounty run. Suffice to say, I successfully completed all 5 Act II bounties on Torment I. Wasn't as stressful as I thought, either. The cache didn't give me shit tho :D

How much resist / dps / toughness would you recommend for Master / Torment 1 as WD?
I'm doing OK in Expert with 1k minimum resist

I have 600k / 8.6m on my WD and I can farm Master pretty trivially--occasionally a pack will require some strategy, but generally I can just run over everything. I run spirit barrage / zombie bears with only garg as a pet--no dogs.

I wouldn't bother doing torment with less than 500k dps. I mean, it's possible, you could probably do it as low as 250k, but you just won't be killing stuff fast enough to justify the time/risk. Toughness will depend on your build / playstyle. If you're a zoo doctor, you can probably go down to 5m and be ok for Torment, otherwise I would target 7m+.

For master, I would say a good target to start is ~350k dps, 5m toughness. Though even at this point, you are probably more efficient farming normal if all you want is to gear up.

okay i'm on jeffmai's vent still trying to break 200k in dmg, wru drops. I had to tell Oxy and Fireal I'm too weak to even play well with you guys yet last night @Q@;

Fireal I have an ascended crown sitting in my stash for you...MIGHT be on tomorrow but won't be on tonight. Have you tried rolling those boots? would love to see what kind of numbers they can get.

I'm tempted to start running torment in groups. I'm sitting at ~500k dps, 8.4m tough with +39% laser, and +47% arcane....or I can swap an ammy and go to 490k dps and 10.4m toughness, but arcane damage drops to 35%

If you're going pub games, be very careful of PKs.

I did roll a pair of the boots. Nothing spectacular. 4 primary including the movement speed and 2 secondary.

I never touch public games. If I don't have people to play with I'll just roll over on expert mode.

Oh well I won't with farming for those boots. I'd use my illusory boots except I lose so much damage =/ but they're handy for more mobility in torment.

Its really easy to farm the mats for that (board walkers). I found the event in A3 to be up almost everytime and its pretty close to the waypoint. ezpz

I'm on 150k / 6.5 M as WD. At 22 or so paragon. I'm gonna start researching where my efforts should be placed i.e. loot or xp, but also looking for suggestions.
Heard some people say that farming normal for legs because the drop quality is the same except certain types won't drop until torment.
If there's an option that is good for xp and drops, that would be cool. Also, this would be solo. Also HC, so I want to keep it safe

Yes that's true about the loot. There are some sets and legendary items that only come from torment, but you can roll affixes on items the same on normal mode as you can in torment.

Anyone running T1 Rifts? Been clearing them solo for a couple days but it's boring with no one to play with. All my friends are on softcore

played some with noobta and fireal -- just want to emphasize the importance of maintaining the maximum Strength in Numbers stack. Pay attention to it. Too many people too used to whirlwinding 1.0 or waving around hugely for big packs in the Fields of Misery.. will find themselves walking out of this buff many times.

Stay tighter and move together. Good thing no more barbs whirlwinding like that..

It's a "buff" I feel needs to be extended by a screen size or two because it's quite easy to get broken up if movement speed differs between players, a drop distracts someone, or a tough pack forces people to split up to avoid affixes and such. Yeah, the whirly barbs were a pain in the ass and I generally hate it when people run too far ahead, too, but its implementation was really just Blizz overreacting to powerleveling and people mooching bounties.
