Champions that fucking explode after you kill them. What the fucking fuck Blizzard!
Champions that fucking explode after you kill them. What the fucking fuck Blizzard!
Happened in D2 as well.
In case some are confused, Molten packs do the delayed explodey death thing.
Half of my group of friends have returned the game because they are all fags. They each rushed 1 char to Act 4 Hell and bitched at me the whole time for taking it slow and leveling 3 classes to 40-45. Now they are talking about going back to LoL. Fuck that.
The game isn't very good at all once you hit Lv60.
Not only is the game terrible post 60 but the balance of the game overall is so shoddy and that begins in hell. Blizzard has been on this "we want all our skills to be viable to give you choices kick" since well into BETA phase but I can't help think this is going to be a lost cause. If Blizzard nerfed inferno mob damage even by half starting with act 2 and beyond you're still not going to take skills that put a ranged class into melee range, the damage will go from 40-50k to 20-25k which is still going to be a 1shot for most ranged if not a 2 shot.
I am going on the record and even going as far to say as D3 is the most unbalanced game I have ever played and for me to say this is such a ridiculous statement given all the badly balanced games I've played over the years. The BETA was ridiculously long and accomplished absolutely nothing with this game. I believe had Blizzard done proper beta test with the main story mode locked but had quests enabled, all the difficulty modes unlocked, play money to really stress test out the gold AH over the BETA servers the game would have been 100x better.
I think it is utterly hilarious at how ranged classes(right now) are basically just glass cannons on inferno, pew pew before you get pew pew'ed. They take less effort at jumping right into inferno as opposed to monks and barbs even when they both have 30% less dmg taken. I called it right when BETA started that rolling a melee right out of the gate was gonna be a horrible idea due to the gear needed to survive in the later difficulties. Just like other Diablo games, melee are a joke until you get the gear that makes them a wrecking ball, funny how most barbs on streams I see these days started as DH or Wizard then farmed the gold/drops to make a melee work on inferno.
The potential is great in D3 but wow, I don't envy Blizzard with the current status of D3 as a whole. Blizzard completely dropped the ball with so many aspects of the game that it frightens me that this is a Blizzard product.
Anyone else ever have 2 Blue packs and a Yellow Champ spawn on top of each other? I've got a set of 3 Vortex/Molten/Vampiric Lacuni Slashers, 3 Plagued/Arcane/Illusionists Lacuni Stalkers, and an Illusionist/Frozen/Waller Gore Harrier humping my corpse.
Only A2 Hell, so I can probably zombie it, but DAMN that was uncool.
Really hate the crafting system. Spend hours farming shit for crafting, gold, etc, craft random Barbarian piece that my DH can't even use...
Yeah, you should be able to pick a single base stat on anything you craft.
I always thought that would be easily accomplished by having gem slots in the materials. You can craft them without gems, just like now, but if you include, say, a ruby, it will limit one of the affixes to Ruby-type stuff, like damage/str/health. Better quality gem, better roll. You still might get a shitty roll on it, but at least you'd have more control over it, instead of just completely random.
ok, so now you get a debuff after fighting elite packs too long that makes you take DoT when close to them...ok, that officially stopped my attempts at inferno. fuck this game up its ass
I think they're legit pissed that people are having any success in inferno at all. Fucks with their plans for the real money AH.
I'm about 60% through Act 2 Inferno on my barb and haven't had that many problems. Yeah, I had a wizard, but blizzard/hydra kiting was so boring I started a new character. I had maybe 200-300k tops from "farming" on my wizard? It helped get my barb up to 60 faster, but I've since made a decent chunk of change from just playing barb. During act1, barb was MOST VERY DEFINITELY better than wizard, even with 20~30k tops spent per equip slot. Wrath+equake kills any champ/elite mobs pretty much instantly, and the cooldown is almost always up by the time you find another pack. (even if not, frenzy/revenge spam holds up pretty well)
Little bit of luck with drops from act 1, and maybe about 1mil total spent on gear, I'm sitting nice and comfy and going through act 2. I really don't see what all the complaining about melee classes has been about. (Although I haven't played monk yet)
For anyone curious:
Spoiler: show
edit: Not that I'm saying there isn't a survivability advantage for ranged classes, that's obvious, but from my experience it's nowhere near as bad as some of you make it seem to be.
ugh, so its just keep on stacking resist then :/
I've put in a request for a refund. I've heard it works. Not here to complain any further, but, if anyone is as disillusioned with the game as I am, just letting you know that it is still an option.
I just started inferno myself, but I'm walking around with pure welfare blue gear and doing just fine. 150,000 sum total tops. 600 base resist, 600 str, and 900 vit. Takes me forever to kill shit but resist seems to be the end-all-be stat for barbs. I'm currently planning on getting 80 resist-all blues in all slots and see how far I can get through all the acts. Way cheaper then all these crazy rares people are walking around with.
5stack siegebreaker inferno kill. 1shot'd him. 2 rare revenant bows and a rare dread lance. all sucked![]()
