It's amazing how many people forget how long Diablo II took to hit its stride as a great game. It took many patches and tweaks. You don't think Blizzard is doing its utmost to fix what's broken now that they see all the evidence of it?

A week's nothing. Give it a few months and come back to it, you might not be that disappointed.

Hell, I just want a max time left option on the AH. I hate having to babysit something for up to a whole day just to make sure I get it. (Which I almost never do...)

I really hope they one day require gem removal to list items. If I wanted a gem with my purchase I would go buy a gem. I'm tired of some shit weapon with a radiant square ruby barely landing above a significantly better weapon with an empty socket.

Just had a treasure goblin run THROUGH the chamber of suffering portal so that he wasn't even visible to click on. Was able to see the portal as he escaped though.

Just checked my email and found my bnet password's been changed. Looks like I somehow got hit, too. Doing scans now just in case, but I doubt they'll find shit. I just started doing sustained bids on the AH yesterday, so part of me is wondering if that's how whatever exploit is going around is being utilized... namely in throwing bids up on really cheap shit.

Edit: And apparently there's no mobile authenticator for android phones. Wee~

There is a mobile authenticator for android, also iphone. Those are the two big ones. Not sure why you can't find it?

It's very unusual for the hackers to have changed your pw, unless you got hit in a different way than most others (ie through a trojan or something more traditional...banking on exploit still though).

Thanks for backing up my idea that the exploit is AH-based though. It seems like people don't get hacked until they use the AH. I wish you'd post this on the official forum for evidence that the exploit is AH-based but it's such a cesspool of blizzard fanboys who believe blizz can do no wrong and the end user is completely to blame in every single case that it's not even worth it.

I mean, here we've got intelligent people getting hacked willy-nilly, people who normally never get their shit broken into (I, personally, have never had anything hacked in my life despite copious internet usage and internet gaming). All signs point to exploit.

[edit] btw you can add SMS authentication to your bnet account, it will send you a text anytime activity happens on your account. It's helpful but it won't prevent anything sadly.

Yeah, I set that up. I'd tried the text authenticator, too, but noticed it only worked for WoW.

As for mobile, when checking the list, I see two options for iPhone (maybe one should be android?), Google Play (though looking at it, I kinda see the little green android mascot, unsure), Blackberry, Zune, and some Korean option. I'll look into the Play one.

Google play is the new name of the old market for android, so yes, you will find there the aunthenticator for D3 (Im using it since I bought diablo)

Whoever jacked my gold didn't even bother looking at my gear, just took the gold and left several semi-valuable rares sitting on my character. I'd be willing to bet that whoever was doing it had tons of accounts to go through and was just taking gold and set/legendaries to speed things up...

They took my gear off my 60 and drained my 3 stash spaces. When I logged in they may have been mid-check on my lowbie wizard, but I didn't really bother to see how much shit she had left. Had some random level 1 douche named Nicholas on my recent list, and at present, I've only played with friends or people from here.

Either way, no sense playing until they restore since they'll just be using an old save point.

Aah so you logged in while they were cleaning you out? That explains why they changed your pw, anytime someone interrupts them they just change it so you will stop bugging them while they steal your shit.

Was only the last-played character affected? I guess you can't tell sometimes but it would be useful to know as that would follow the pattern.

According to the CMs they are working on patching this so if you d/c you don't lose your Valor stacks. Might be a problem of the past pretty soon.
