I could basically explain my net history for the last 3 weeks if it'd make you feel any better, but it's pretty easy to just hand wave and go nuh-uh. Shadiest thing I've done was pick up some GoT torrents. If there's something that infected me, it would have otherwise come from here, Alla, my LS site, FB, LJ, Rift's forums, streaming some stuff on Xfinity, or FFXIAH. I can go on further to remark I'm using Firefox, NoScript, and AdBlock with iframes disabled to help cut shit there, too.
Unsurprisingly, running Avast, Malwarebytes, Spybot, Hijackthis, and CCleaner yielded nothing out of the ordinary. My Win7 is up to date if that means anything, too. If there's something else someone more tech savvy would propose, I don't mind giving it a shot. Yeah, some might argue this a non-issue now that I set up an authenticator, but I'd still like to know what the fuck happened since I'm basically unable to play for however long it'll take to get a rollback as their process reverts all characters on the account.
Oh, I visited d2jsp the other day when someone here linked an auction. Maybe I should just jump to the conclusion that they're hacking people since that's the only diablo-related site I've visited outside of these boards and bnet. I mean, I am at fault that a 15 letter password mixing letters and numbers got compromised, right?!
Instal last night, go to bed to wake up early to play...POW MAINTENANCE RIGHT IN THE KISSER
I had a glorious hour to kill before I had to head to work this morning... POW MAINTENANCE RIGHT IN THE KISSER
Also, logging into a game or using a waypoint right into the middle of two elite/champion packs is complete and utter bullshit.

*plays game nonstop for 3 weeks, gets level 60 + inferno*
*asks for refund when bored of game*
Yep, but I'm only posting this in complaint thread, not main thread--I think if people have complaints against the game and no longer wish to play, they may want to know about the option of a refund.
The reason I don't like this game is because I want to find loot, not buy it off the AH. But that is no longer the design in Diablo 3.
You know inferno is boring when you had more fun cutting the grass in 95 degree heat than doing act 3 inferno farming.
Sorry I guess I missed the patch notes which state that you can no longer hunt for cool items, you can only buy them from the AH. But good on you for enjoying the game for 3 weeks and probably 100+ hours then refunding it because you felt you didn't get your money's worth.
lol, I'm going to hit 60 on my first character tonight and I haven't even visited the auction house yet. I'm having a blast.
You know Blizzard is a company and not a pretty lady on the internet right?
Regardless, game was fun but I can see how some might find it boring after awhile, and others will grind that shit like so much Korean in a cafe. I played some of my buddies copy, was pretty fun, I need to break out my copies of D2 and LoTD and play through them again before deciding if I want this.
I've only fallen back on the Auction House once so far to upgrade my pathetic weapon when I hit a rough patch, repeatedly getting my shit pushed in by Belial (Nightmare). I'm not a big fan of its existence as it's a constant lingering temptation that feels like borderline cheating.
Spoiler: show
I'll miss your Gob calls Kwiji.
Hit lvl 60 and completed hell. Can't even kill any act 1 champ packs in inferno lol cheapest weapon has been 5M and I'm at 200k. I guess I'm just at a crossroads with what to do now.
I think people find the game exciting/interesting up through hell (and completing hell with decent gear is still pretty hard in some spots). The change comes in Act 1 inferno moving forward. I'd say the hell act 4 to inferno act 1 is about a 3 fold change in difficulty. However, the act 1 inferno to act 2 inferno is about a 5 fold difficulty. When I could handle packs of champs/elites/bosses then I get mowed down by some regular 'white' mobs before I even make it to the hidden camp...ugh. I'm not really stuck on act 2 as I've been going back and farming (for gold really as the drops are a joke) in act 1 to buy more stuff off the AH. It's a bad design, imo. The AH shouldn't exist but I look at it as a why of Blizzard forcing the players hands to use it to train us to use until the RMAH hits and we start buying stuff (micro transactions).
The difficulty of inferno is so steep that I think people will see those "$5 boots" as no big deal in regards to advancing in the game and it'll end up making Blizzard a decent paycheck. Time will tell I suppose.
