I could build a ranged type build but I don't wanna, lol. However, it might be necessary to progress.

Anyone know what's causing random mouse lag while in game? Only in d3.. everywhere else my mouse acts fine but as soon as i log into d3 and try to play my mouse gets progressively laggier until i can't even really play anymore. App says batteries are fine. Just don't get it.
never happened to me but maybe it has something to do with mouse accel. if it's on try turning it off, or if you're mouse software that turns it on for gaming try turning that off.
That annoying DoT you get when you take long to kill Champions...
Not the DoT itself so much, but when I run in to Extra Health/Shielding with Nightmarish, there is no possible way I can kill it in time, anytime I get close they fear me away or have a shield on...so annoying.
I give up on this game, random loot plus AH makes it so you either are stupidly lucky or you buy gold/use RMAH, it's not possible to compete with people swimming in a pool of gold when trying to buy something, you settle for shitty overpriced gear or spend 40m in a decent piece of gear, tried to buy a weapon three times, and they all went up 20m in price during the last 30 minutes of the auction
They need to bring back runewords or uniques, when I used to play D2 (till 1.09) the best weapon for a barb was a blue colossus sword with high %Damage, IAS and sockets, but then you had the Fury runeword, which was pretty good for the price and you were still competitive
In D3 you either wear a good weapon or a shitty weapon, theres no middle ground, at least for barbs
Last 3 days I've been camping the AH and I keep getting this BS, ended up buying a 860 dps one hander with 950 LoH, 2.70% Life steal and 1.51 hits per sec for 15 million, this is the best I've found in 3 days without it being 30m+...
/rant :<
Play hardcore and hold out for 1.0.3.
I wish gold was available on RMAH already. I have all this money in my bnet account with nothing to spend it on cause there really isn't anything spectacular I'm seeing pop up on RMAH, yet the gold AH still has some good items.
This is good advice. I find hardcore mode cuts out almost all of the bullshit in SC. Gold AH is very important to HC and it's actually used in the manner it was intended, meaning your stuff will sell as long as it's a reasonable price, no matter what level it is. You can't zombie mobs to progress, you actually have to think and play it (very) safe. The fact that there are actually stakes in the game in HC makes it much more fun and interesting imo.
People who are disillusioned with the game really should try HC.
Inferno just isnt fun. Also it just sorta seems like to me that they really messed up the game in terms of progressing through it. Seems like you have to be level 60 and be inferno act 2+ to get stuff thats good, but its just beyond difficult to play through it.
In D2, you had things like war travelers, occulus's, shako's, vampire gazes's etc that were still good items and you could find them in easier settings and build yourself up and progress your character. It seems like a just a huge block in the road to really progress your character in D3. MF'ing in lower settings until you have better stuff seems pointless because nothing great is mid lvl. Only thing you can really do it feels like sometimes is farm gold so you can buy something better off the ah.
Hopefully with the next patch they can balance the game out a bit.
I'm starting to feel like drop rates/mf are gimped. I have 148%mf, so I get to 223% with stacks. And somehow I can kill 50+ elite packs and all the whites in between and not find a single legendary?
Did they take scaling that matches d2 or was worse, and then be like let's make mf even harder to equip? ffs
Well first it's not intended to be equipped at the end of battles. You're supposed to sacrifice other stats if you really want to use MF based on the system they're supporting right now. Second, legendaries don't drop, silly. Third, something something TH2 D:
I'm not swapping gear. I have 148%mf, which becomes 223%mf when I have 5 stacks of valor. This is fulltime gear and I can kill stuffs in act 2.
Also I'm playing barb and I'm above level 45 so I have TH2 D:
All I can say is I don't really track my MF but between 4 characters, one which is in hell atm, 2 in NM and one still in act III in normal, I have only found 1 legendary on the normal mode char...in act I on my second or third time playing the game at all >_> it was a pretty good one too, even matched my character. I've got an insane amount of playtime (but still not as much as most people I guess) between all those chars and still no legendaries except that first one.
Kinda makes you wonder how so many end up on the AH at all when nearly everyone can profess they hardly ever/never get legendaries to drop. Guess it's just a testament to how many people are actually playing the game.
I full time MF gear on my Wizard, 229MF with follower, 37k dps, 57k life. Have found 6 legendaries all mostly crap.
We really need at least 1 more action buttonJust isn't enough what we have currently.
I've found 5 legendaries, two were from mobs, the rest from tree stumps and barrels. Most of them dropped when the only mf I had was 9% from my helm on the way to 60. Another, the only set one I've found, dropped when I had only 1 stack of NV and no other mf.
I personally don't believe magic find affects legendary drop rates, just magic/rares. The number of them on the ah truly is just a testament to how many people are playing, and how often they are playing.
If the datamined IAS nerfs are true, fuck blizzard. I only have IAS on my weapon and on one ring, and you're going to punish me? Seriously? Fucking adjust everything with the precision of a sledgehammer like you always have blizzard.
If that's true, I'm not touching another fucking blizzard game ever again, I put up with a lot of shit in WoW when they were messing talents every damn patch to balance PVP, seriously. fuck blizzard and their inability to balance for shit
I don't want to know what people that uses the RMAH to buy would feel when they find out the gear they bought becomes worthless overnight, lol,
Describe the changes?
I've said it before, though, but instead of fucking with the actual attack speed, they should offer incentive to using slower weapons/attacks. Attacking 3x per second should generate 1/3 the Hatred of a DH attacking 1x, for example. Such a person may also passively generate more Discipline to help be more defensively minded, too.
