So did I. No idea then, why this is happening to me and apparently quite a few other people aswell, but it was absolutely horrible yesterday during voidwatch and legion and made me want to throw my keyboard out of the window. People died because my cure macros just wouldn't go off.

You are not alone on this one; I sometimes need to press the macro 2-3 times for it to work. Has happened on NIN and PLD; haven't used other jobs but I assume it is the same.

Windows 7 (Spanish), Windower, Spellcast. I haven't tried non-Windower FFXI yet, I wonder if Windower has anything to do.

Nevermind. Fixed it. What an absolutely bizarre hiccup.

We have identified the following issues after the version update that took place on May 18, 2012.

- Opening the map in the following zones will cause the PlayOnline Viewer to crash:
Phanauet Channel / Manaclipper / Open Sea Route to Al Zahbi / Open Sea Route to Mhaura / Silver Sea Route to Nashmau / Silver Sea Route to Al Zahbi / Ship to Selbina / Ship to Mhaura / San d’Oria–Jeuno Airship / Bastok–Jeuno Airship / Windurst-Jeuno Airship / Kazham-Jeuno Airship

We are currently in the process of testing fixes to address these issues.

After running file checker in POL and downloading the update here and copying them to my ffxi folder I still can't login.

Hurry up and fix your game.

Not sure if this is update related but its only started happening today. Whenever I switch to bst my spellcast fails to work. Spellcast encountered a fatal error at best. Same error + playonline crash at worst.

Tried running same script on another char and it works fine.
Tried swapping in other scripts on my faulty character and it still crashes.
Other jobs spellcast appear to be working on my faulty char when I change to them. Its only on BST so far Ive noticed problems

Both chars running on same PC. Have latest version of spellcast (2.45) done //updateresources. Done lots of testing. Got bored of relogging in.

This is gonna be a dumb question, but bear with me; Are you wearing Decennial gear when you're trying to use spellcast swaps on BST? The reason I ask is because when you change jobs your gear gets stripped or replaced, and if you switched back to BST you'd put it back on. The Decennial gear was crashing the hell out of me since the update and screwed up my Spellcast.

That goes for the exp ring too btw - Decennial Ring - it will crash spellcast aswell.

Only thing that didn't work was the modified icons, so you're ok just installing everything else but those. Looking at windower forum quickly atm, seems someone's working on fixing the icons but they're not quite finished yet - unless I misunderstood something.

Has anyone else noticed a problem with AOE or elemental damage WS's enmity generation? Cataclysm specifically. Yesterday I pulled maybe 10 mandragoras in abyssea altep by aggroing them, ran over to my friend who was cataclysming, and they attacked me the whole time, even after they were at 20% HP after 2 catas. I dunno if its an old problem or not, as I never look at these type of threads or if its known/happened to other people. It was also weird when he was brewing Dragua, sometimes the WS just would not generate any enmity.

There are fixed ones but it's just resized ones. They're not all HD and pretty, but they work imo.

I've had this happen to me before(A long time ago too.) Usually on very large pulls. Seems like the enmity gets screwy when there's too many targets.

Yeah, you can only generate enmity on a certain number of targets at once.

You could also run a Check File process before logging into POL to fix it.

It's a dat mod, when I had the same problem, Check file couldn't find the error.

you can delete those files, if you want "Check files" to find a error and fix it.
