Fake Cop Killing People

I have a friend that got pulled over in Tyler, TX (I know, lol Texas) and was very suspicious of the cop's behavior. He was on the highway out to Whitehouse which is pretty remote, so he was very nervous as well. When he asked the officer to identify himself the cop pulled his gun, ordered my friend out of the truck, cuffed him and placed him in the cruiser. Then he proceeded to search the truck even pulling the seats out and found nothing. He released my friend but left all his shit all over the road and drove away.

This was an instant that, according to advice in this thread, screamed imposter. But it wasn't an imposter. Just a pissed off officer pulling over a teenager and finding nothing in his truck and no reason to have even pulled him over in the first place.

We still don't know why he was pulled over and even though there was ample evidence including pictures that my friend took of the entire scene after the officer left, the Tyler police laughed at him when he tried to file a report regarding the officer's actions. He was totally stonewalled by the blue shield.

So, in conclusion, it's just not good at all to pull over for any cop for any reason unless you are in an area with tons of witnesses. Even the real cops can be assholes.

Well you only hear about the douche's sadly. The four times i've been pulled over, all different agencies, only once was it someone who knew my dad, and they were always professional, but then again I don't immediately come off as a jackass the second they walk up to my car. I've seen how a lot of people act when they get pulled over, and they wonder why the cop is a prick to them.

I have only ever been pulled over once.... didn't pull off to a safer less traveled side road, just pulled over as soon as he lighted up. Put my hands on the edge of my rolled down window so he can see them as he approached. Didn't do the trunk thing though - never seen a cop do that (and I've been present in 4 pull overs now between myself and other drivers I was riding with). Anyways, the dick gave me a speeding ticket. I was going 35 on a 35 road... it was fucking 3:25 PM in a 15 MPH high school's school zone that ends at 3:30 (school lets out at 2:30-2:45 though) and not a kid or bus was in sight...

I was in the back seat of a car going from Jax, FL to Atlanta, GA once. We were all fucking tired as shit, but I was just kinda gazing out the back window or something. I notice a cop is following us for a bit (coincidence, probably, major highway and all) and I tell the driver and just keep looking out the back window. At some point he lights up and we get pulled over, and we're all wondering wtf for.

Cop comes up and asks is everything ok. Of course it is, why? Cause he was worried I was being abducted or something since I kept looking out the back window at a cop car. :3

Yes there is: Call 911 and ask them.

For example, if you're on any street and you pull off to the right, chances are the officer will approach from the passenger side to keep him out of the line of traffic. If there is no side pull off area and they approach the drivers side, they're either a moron (impersonator) or a vet who won't change their tactics. Also watch your mirrors for the approach and be ready for a subtle "rocking" of your vehicle. That's the officer placing his hand on your trunk and giving it a good push to make sure it's closed and to put his prints on the car for identification purposes later. Also, a real officer won't stand directly beside you during a stop. They will always lean from the middle post towards the front of the car in some fashion.

Got pulled over on I-275 yesterday, all of this happened to the tee. Was going 75 in a 55 in the left lane. He moved it down to driving without registration though, and told me to go downtown and show them my registration to change the ticket to a $12 fine, so I can't complain at all.

Wait, really? I thought you were supposed to put your car in park, take the key out of the ignition and put it on the dashboard and keep your hands on the wheel. I've never been pulled over. What exactly am I supposed to do if I ever do get pulled over, and why shouldn't I put my car in park? What should I put it in?

lol how is this at all viable. If you get pulled over and he walks up to your car right away, you don't have time to do that. I doubt he will wait for you to find out if he is a real cop or not.

Click link if you wonder what your technically suppose to do when pull over. To much to copy and paste. Other than that, try to use common sense depending on where you are. If you feel frightened or unsure call 911, at least if something happens it will be recorded by the dispatcher. If you feel bold enough ask for the officers identification. If its the killer your kinda fucked because of how the average person reacts when pulled over.

won't ever happen. only been pulled over for bs reason. said i ran a stop sign because she saw me go down the hill and turn and as she made the turn she saw me " driving through " the stop sign. in reality i went down the hill and stopped at the sign like i always do and went as she was pulling around turn so in her eyes she saw me "driving through" a stop sign. took her to court and requested her dash cam and lol'd at the footage (exactly as I described)

moral of the story: if cop says you ran a stop sign you clearly stopped at, go to court and request the dash cam. pretty sure they can just refuse but how obvious does that make it they were lying?

My sister got ripped out of her car because she didn't pull over right away. She had music playing, was driving without mirrors, and that was the reason the cop was pulling her over. So she couldn't see the cop and didn't hear because of her music. When she turned a corner, she saw the cop and pulled over right away. Within about 30 seconds, 3 other cars swarmed her car and they yanked her out of the car with 2 officers' guns drawn and the third that was pulling her out slamming her to the ground and breaking 2 ribs. There was no "Show me your hands" or any other warnings. Just a body slam on a 19 year old female that weighed 110 lbs.

There is more to that story, but it's a prime example of what happens if you take 2-3 minutes to pull over when a cop lights you up.
