got caught up with DW's manga, guess I'll see how they end the anime since the manga keeps on going waaaay past the anime. If its like a Claymore anime ending, or a cliff hanger. Did enjoy the manga but god damn it took a long ass time for the main character to stop being a whiny little bitch, and he still has the least interesting base sin.

The anime just ends kind of on a cliffhanger, not like Claymore's anime ending. You pretty much have to read the manga, anime is good, but ending like that just sucks. =(

Even though the manga is also stuck on a cliffhanger type deal... Either way, you're kinda screwed until the author comes back from her break.

They are really only going to be playing older shows for the time being
If and when they make a new SARA she would have a new design
S7 was a choice due to a lack of funds
No music videos like on Midnight run
We are going to be stuck with Bebop and GitS for a while
They are not going to repeat a anime "If at all possible"
NO second run for DMW
They own GitS but not Bebop
Do not expect anything Gundam related in the near future
DeMarco wants non-anime series to air at some point

I don't think they'll do something like that. Probably something in terms of Boondocks or similar shows.

I wouldn't mind those, but modestly mature animation is a bit on the short side on this side of the Pacific, I feel. Fears of their reality programming aside, I'd also hope they don't dip too far back into animation history like they did with Gigantor and such. Anything prior to Batman TAS (if thinking hero programming) is probably pushing it.

Basically any anime with next to none fanservice with lots of action will fit. Personally I want Legend of the Legendary Heroes on Toonami BECAUSE THERE WILL NEVER BE A 2ND SEASON

I think they realize that they can't get amazing ratings without airing shows immediately after they've been dubbed, or even before the dubbed DVD releases come out, like they used to.

Back in the day, Toonami world premiered a lot of dubs. That's what made them all the $$$$$

Agreed, and something that doesn't drag on with zero character development. Not to start a flame war, but I really don't understand how people tolerate something as boring as Bleach.

Pretty sure you hit the nail on the head with the internet due to subs being so popular. I'm all for original programming on Toonami as long as it's animated and an action series.

Also, holy shit at how dark Deadman Wonderland is getting. Either run and let your friends be raped, or fight and find out your ex-leader is now against you, brainwashed, and pretty much in an insane, depressive, and murderous state.

I think Bleach gets its numbers from the Teenage market. Its dumb enough to make anyone older hate it, but perfectly suited for the 13-18 group. Titties, mindless violence, a *ahem* "plot". It also has the a good time slot, anything after 1AM is DVR land.

It's off the filler route now and I'm sure more people will tune in then. I ignored the beast swords arc when it aired in Japan and now I can see why.
