Eh, they could maybe stretch 12, but then it'd put them in the position of having a shallow third season, if that. Plus the manga has a few characters they're pretty much written out of the anime at the moment, so while they could be reapplied later, I'm not sure how well a transvestite would be received.

It's sad too, I really liked DW anime. At the very least it's a great entry point to the series and really easy to recommend to people new to anime (who want something cool).

Antiquity? I dunno. Thought I heard there's multiple iterations of the series. We might've just gotten the shitty one... which is probably an inevitability with AS' anime choices since they're not swimming in dough.

After DW's run and thinking of some things I've watched on Netflix, part of me's wondering if Phantom: Requiem of a Phantom might be an okay choice to go in the line-up. They'd have to do some censoring here and there, both for language and fanservice, but I'd say the show was more interesting than some things they've run in the past.

There are several versions yea, the last one that came out was Robot Hunter Casshern back in the 90's if you don't count the live action iirc, but it was actually fucking awesome and to get this afterwards was just silly. All it did was spark the "Devour Casshern" robot meme.

Looks like the DVD promos last night for Gundam Wing and Outlaw Star were to help Bandai out. Kinda sad to see Bandai in America die out because of piracy and shit. Which makes it harder to even show Gundam in the states now. OS is something they do want to show again, so maybe that was a hint too.

I'm not sure how 00 did on syfy's anime block, but I watched it w/ /m/ couple years ago for both seasons and it was hilarious with their reactions. Regene's female voice was hot...

Seriously lol. I skipped 00 S2 subbed to wait for the dubbed version to air and they skipped the Jupiter scene hinting at the movie to promote their shit. It was off in a small screen but with no sound.

Damn. That + Funimation channel closings are pretty lame.

Ended suddenly last June. Anime section on syfy vanished like it was never there. Guys could have given a hint or some shit like when Toonami originally died.
