I feel like they'd shoot for something more recent than Wing. Just what, though, has a pretty broad pool. The fact they think some people might now like it has me thinking it was something that was probably borderline during its JP airing (thus cheap), however.

Airing the SEEDs would be just terrible, and the only AGE English-dub is the Animax/CN Philippines one (which presents licensing issues or something outside of Oceania).

I'm sure Turn-A would be lambasted as being too old or be flooded with some other moronic criticisms from the /a/-types. Pretty sure anything older than 2000 will probably get nixed really. 00 had two runs on Sci-Fi, but given how poorly they publicized Ani-(day of the week), it would be a good choice to garner more exposure. Out of the Gundam series of the post-millenium it's easily the best; not that it would be hard to be the best, given the competition.

Yeah. I'd prefer 00 got a chance with a more well known anime block (that also isn't shuffled around like a whore or defunct as of 2010), but I guess SEED is probably as far back as they're likely to go. I wouldn't say SEED is the best choice either, but maybe the anime audience on AS will eat it up.

I'd actually like to see gundam 08th ms on toonami rather than seed. I saw a few episodes last week and was like "Why haven't I watched this yet?"

Well, they stopped producing new stock of existing licensed series last month, meaning Bandai Entertainment (and Beez as well, the European distributor) is absolutely dead now. Almost certain Gundam will never be allowed to be touched by anyone (see how Unicorn is being dubbed and distrubuted in the US, with direct involvement from Japan) other than Namco-Bandai Holdings themselves; but the other shows are a different matter.

I would rather have Funimation have the Gundam license than Sentai Filmworks. Everything filmwork does is shit.

They're never going to; NBH will never let anyone touch Gundam (though if they did, Funi would likely be the first candidate).
