1.11 is a great introduction to the series...at least for the first 6 episodes. 2.22 changes things up.

Didn't think it'd be that big a bump.
I don't think it's really indicative of how well-recieved or how well a mecha anime might do though, like some (particularly /m/) are suggesting. Gundam is way more complicated to get on the air, given that it's Bandai's crown jewel (and also expensive); but their B-tier series like Geass and the like could probably wind up in Funimation's hands (with whom Toonami has a relationship).

Now 1.11 and 2.22 are #1 and 2 on top sellers for Anime BD at Amazon. I'm not too worried about Gundam coming back right now. It would be nice though.

I wish it was more because it trended the entire time it aired. Hopefully this is a go ahead to air 2.22 because I want to see people's reactions towards Shinji at the end.
