Well shit. Samurai Jack returns this February.
Well shit. Samurai Jack returns this February.
That was a hell of a good movie.
Really was, don't know why i didn't watch sooner
I've been meaning to watch it but glad they aired it. Was really great.
I don't know why I had never heard of it before. It was pretty cool but sweet at the same time.^^
Movie wasn't too bad, but Summer Wars is still the winner of movie month in my book.
Wonder if Toonami has any plans on showing Trigun again. I loved that series.
I'm still holding my breath waiting for Trigun to get the FMA Brotherhood treatment.
It was as different as the original FMA is to FMA Brotherhood. For a long time it's similar, but at some point the story splits off and does something completely different. It certainly would be incredible if they did go back and re-make Trigun brotherhood style since it really is two completely different endings.
Well, as someone who's never watched the first series of Naruto past like episode 75, can someone give a quick run down on whats going on the the character relationships here?
Don't remember what the specific episode that is, but I'll just kind of generalize...
Third dies in the attack on Konoha started by Orochimaru with help from the Sand. Gaara goes one-tails and fucks shit up, but Naruto beats him with a mix of summoned toads and the power of friendship. Not long after this, Sasuke willingly leaves the village to go with the Sound ninjas to train under Oro. Naruto, Neji, Shikamaru, Choji, and Kiba give chase, with the latter basically getting paired up against one of the enemy ninja along the way. A recovered, but still weak Rock shows up to fight one of Oro's big bads. Things start looking grim when Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari show up at some of the respective battles while Sasuke woke up after embracing the cursed seal, more or less. Naruto keeps chasing him, they have a big fight at the Valley of the End, but Naruto loses and Sasuke goes off.
So begins filler hell, as some would put it, in regards to the rest of the original Naruto.
Shippuden kinda kicks off in a weird place if I remember right with the group raiding one of Oro's hideouts and finding Sasuke, but Sasuke proves too much for 'em. Otherwise, a few years had passed with Naruto off training with Jiraiya, Sakura studying under Tsunade, and everyone else just kinda hanging with their respective masters. In general, Sasuke was labeled a deserter and would fall under the usual capture/kill stuff of the bingo book deal. Post attack on Konoha, Tsunade got recruited as the new Hokage, Oro's involvement in the attack generally absolved the Sand of some guilt, leading to a bit of an alliance there. Gaara winds up becoming their kage and not so much a raging loon anymore.
Think that covers the generalities and perhaps even skipping ahead a bit into some early Shippuuden info.
