Oh and if anyone hasn't noticed already. DBZ kai will have reruns that air at the start of every Saturday for Adult Swim then the new ep when Toonami begins.
They've tried to completely remove the Saturday anime block from AS a few times already, and for a while I think it was gone. Popular demand more or less forced them to bring it back, but there was a *long* chunk where the Anime block was literally all repeats of repeats and it was kinda sad. Toonami coming back was a fantastic move, but for me personally it's just difficult to watch like I used to.
Not only have I seen pretty much everything they're gonna show already, I unfortunately can't stay up as late as often as I like. While the Toonami guys still show a lot of love and passion for the art and industry of animation (something the rest of CN hasn't done in a LONG time), it's just a different time and their audience has changed over the years as has the industry itself. All things considered, for as much as I loved and still enjoy Toonami, I can't see it having the same impact now as it did way back when.
That said, I just realized it's been over two years since it's return...that's just kinda crazy.
When does this initially air? I think I have something I need to watch constantly now.
You guys listen to this yet?
