Saw the first three episodes of Promised Neverland last night and ended up having to watch the rest in Japanese on crunchyroll. Really loved this anime.

It's a bit hit or miss for me but yeah it's pretty interesting. Might need to jump ahead at some point.

I thought I would post the full op/end of The Promised Neverland sinse Toonami has never aired them. They usually show the full opening the first episode of a new anime but for some reason they didn't this time.

Just caught up with the manga. Haven't marathoned one like that in a long ass time. Can't wait for it all to be animated.

I thought about doing that. After it aired I read the first chapter of the manga just to compare. It's like a carbon copy of the manga. So I don't want to spoil the whole series for me.

Gah man, I knew for years that Naruto's parents were dead and they weren't involved with his up bringing, but damn these past few episodes really put kick in the impact of these scenes when they finally sacrifice themselves for the ritual.

Toonami Block Shifts a Half Hour Earlier on May 25

The official Facebook account for Adult Swim's Toonami block announced on Monday that the block's schedule will begin at 10:30 p.m., starting on May 25. It will have the following schedule on that day:

10:30 p.m. – My Hero Academia
11:00 p.m. – Dragon Ball Super
11:30 p.m. – Attack on Titan
12:00 a.m. – The Promised Neverland
12:30 a.m. – Sword Art Online: Alicization
1:00 a.m. – JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable
1:30 a.m. – Black Clover
2:00 a.m. – Boruto: Naruto Next Generations
2:30 a.m. – Naruto Shippūden
3:00 a.m. – Hunter x Hunter
The block will premiere the second part of the Attack on Titan Season 3 television anime on May 25. It will then premiere Lupin the Third: Part 5 on June 15.

I am actually enjoying Boruto more than I thought I would when it first started. If there is one issue I have with the show is that they seem to be a bit too strong, they are still students in school and yet they are fighting and winning against people who graduated and are actually established ninja. Could maybe explain it that they learned the majority of their tricks from the parents but come on now.

Not sure where toonami is on boruto but it’s over 80+ on Hulu . And they’ve established the kids of the main cast were all trained together by their parents way before they even started school.

Yeah I got to admit I'm shocked considering I didn't like Naruto that much even when it started to air.

Also Promised Neverland keeps adding more twists and turns. Did the 2nd mother actually offer to join the kids in escaping or am I going nuts?

I think she just wants to join up with them to get rid of the current Mom so she could take her place, what better way to replace her than having all the kids get away under her watch. Though I'm sure Mom will catch on and new girl will get owned.

I'm still waiting for Boruto to have an overall ultimate point.

I mean, first episode we see older Boruto fighting someone over the ruins of the village, I presume, with his connection to the Okutsuki clan/sages (palm mark and eye during the Nue arc) still largely unexplained. I know they tried to have some character building arcs between Sarada/Sasuke stuff and Mitsuki in the Stone stuff, but the payoff has still felt relatively shallow and they've done little to shake my concern that the kids are more or less poor clones of their parents. Plus I pretty much can't stand any episode where Chocho is a focus, and there have been entirely too many.

But maybe that's just the point to milk the shit out of the franchise.

Isn't the Boruto anime like 95% filler?

Like, the manga starts at the Boruto movie, which is something like 50 episodes into the anime, right? The manga is like 4 arcs in now. The anime won't even get to that point 2 years from now at this pace.
