In all seriousness, it's unsurprising that many young/unmarried menfolk don't know much about women's clothing. Popular culture generally looks down on bringing men to shop for clothes as a punishment, so it's generally avoided (especially since the part about it taking a while is pretty true, though not for the same reasons).

Honestly, I just find the whole experience humbling. I always offer to go shopping with my girlfriends and good friends because I feel like they could use the support as they put themselves through that nightmare, and it consistently grants me a greater appreciation for my penis and some of the fringe benefits it entails that are all too often taken for granted.

I had an ex that confessed to me that she scours the planet for clothes that are smaller sizes then her actual size (but fit) so she can tell her female friends that the smaller sizes were her size. I imagine this is common practice amongst the persons of the female persuasion... I also imagine this is the reason womens clothing is sized this way.

Oh, if they enjoyed shopping it wouldn't be a problem. Most of my friends dread it, though. Especially my last ex. Shopping for her meant setting aside a whole day to try and find decently fitting pants only to go get them altered afterwards. Being 4'11" and curvy/fit is just difficult to work with.
