How in the hell do you beat Belial in inferno. Giving me a headache trying to do it lol. How many of you have beaten him?
barb: 900-1k resistance, 85% defensive skills
ph2 is easy but takes forever lol
Avoid green shit on the ground. :D
Does anyone know if Life on hit procs con every enemy you hit with Revenge and stuff like that?
I dunno. I was wondering the same about the reverberations you can use on Bash. If each reverb counts as a hit (which visually it seems to) that would be amazing.
I think the problem is assuming NV guarantees rares, which in my experience, isn't true in its current incarnation. It simply adds more drop slots to bosses with the higher MF rate. Killed a bit too many bosses with 5 stacks just to see blues. :/
If Blizz has stated otherwise, well, lolanotherbug.
In the Reddit Interview, the Devs specifically say "5 Stacks of N.Valor currently guarantee 2 Rare drops from Bosses" - RIght before they say they're nerfing it to only guarantee 1, and in that light, are having Nep Valor effect Elites/Champ Packs much more, so in the long run if you farm a lot of Champ/Elites then boss, You'll end up with more drops.
This may have been patched already, the nerf, But even after the nerf its suppose to give you 1.
Izual is just not counted as a boss.
Which is amusing and pretty typical of Blizzard, since he's one of the hardest bosses in the game.
Aye, he kicked my ass pretty hard on my original pass through hell mode.
Did they nerf royal crypt gold? I haven't really played in a bit and have all this gold find gear.
edit: i see they did. Hmmm what to use this gold find for.
I was debating 5nv butcher runs with it but meh, maybe act1-3 dark/damp/blacksmith is still decent with gf. 2-8 gob is ok for gf too I think.
At this point I've pretty much shelved my barb until 1.0.3 because butcher runs are zzz. Using the time to work on my monk and wizard and do a little farming on my DH.
I've shelved the game entirely for the time being, Because its all about loot/Endgame gear, and the only place to get endgame gear is Inferno, and Inferno is "not for everyone"... So you have a game driven by gear where the best gear can only be obtained in a difficulty setting not designed for 90% of the player base.
Its really a terrible design from the ground up. Its likely one of those games I'll pick up in about a year when it might be good.
NV works something like this, numbers may be off a bit:
Killing a boss with 0 stacks gives 2 drops (blue quality or higher)
1 stack: 3 drops
2 stacks: 4 drops
3 stacks 5 drops
4 stacks 6 drops, 1 of which is guaranteed rare (this one may be incorrect, only killed a boss with 4 stacks once)
5 stacks 8 drops, 2 of which are guaranteed rare
Me too. I can roll through Act 1/inferno with 5 stacks without dying. I'm @40k hp, between 750-930 resists across the board and a shade over 10k dps (without frenzy proc) and when I go into Act 2, it's an iron curtain. I can't even handle more than 1 lucani warrior with ignore pain. :/
